Aww. Carly is a great addition to the children 's hospital. She's doing a great job in helping kids heal. It's definitely more than the medicine. Kids can definitely think about Carly the dog when they are getting painful medical procedures done.
how could someone abuse a dog like that .. no soul. She is beautiful and there should be more of this type of situation because it works .. in prisons, obviously emotional and physical pain situations, etc etc .. and the dogs enjoy it .. so it should be everywhere .. adorable dog :)X
Isn't it pretty wonderful that a dog rescued from a shelter and quite fearful of human company, could become such a blessing for patients with her gentle and intuitive approach to them. I was so touched by her and her owner. Thank you...
They are the best medicine in the world. I now have Rosa Mystica a Golden Retriever who is my second Service dog for PTSD with Panic Attacks and Pain Management. I spent my life working with Dogs and other Animals. The Golden before Rosa I thought I had rescued her from near death starvation as a puppy. 2 years later several tragedys took the lives of all of my family and 9/11 took the lives of all my friends from Undergraduate College Long Island University. I soon realized that Jewel was placed in my life to be the first dog to save me. She could warn me of seizures I had just started to have, Acted as if trained (not by me and I am a trainer) to wake me up from night terrors; knew how to help me get out with my panic attacks. They have truly saved my life and will always be my heroes. I would not be alive today without these two precious angels and a now 19 year old Kitty named Caress who adopted me at my front door 18 1/2 years ago. After seeing my Goldens bring so much peace to people who saw them when I was out doing things. I realised they knew who had need of them and wanted to comfort others. I had both certified as Therapy Dogs and share their healing abilities with others. There are no words that can adequately thank these girls for saving my life each and everyday. They care truly great gifts from God.
I used to go into a hospital a lot as a kid and teen. And one of the things that helped me, and so many others on the floors I was placed on, was when Dogs would be brought in. They cheered everyone up, and brightened the mood of everyone around. This is a wonderful thing to do, and I wish more people would do stuff like that.
I saw a Golden in the train today. I stood up my seat and walked over to the lady in wheelchairs. I told her I would like to bring her home. She said that everybody tells her that.
Are you aloud to keep golden hair short. I always wanted to know. I'm not a fan of all the drooping of the hair, I prefer clean cut. I know some dogs need it for protection, but just curious. Anybody know?
you can have them short but just not to short because it ruins their undercoat. if you want an extremely short haired dog that is similar to a golden then get a lab.

I had my beloved Goldie boy for 12 years...I totally get the "she gets it"💕

Awww. She is so sweet
Carly and all Golden Retrievers just naturally “gets it”.
There are dogs, and there are the Golden Retrievers. The perfect dogs!
Definitely, I swear they're human.
Tinky Nine better than humans.
@@tinkynine3351 They're pure love
Yep. They've got a heart of gold. Hence "golden retreiver"
Carly is my favorite therapy dog :) she always made me happy in my time at the hospital
Good thing Carly has a photo ID. That way the doctors won't mistake her for a patient....
Old golden retrievers are soooooo gentle! I have a 9 year old golden retriever and she is still extremely active.

Carley and you are doing Gods work. Bless both of you.
Carly is loveliness personified!
I liked Carly from the start of the video, just just started loving her more and more as we learned more about her. What a wonderful dog!
This dog reminds me of my uncle's golden who died a year ago :'(

Love the Goldens, I have one too, great therapy
What a lovely dog!!
What a sweet heart; god bless her heart! I don't like it when kids pull her fur tail though. Carly is a kid herself.

Awwh, Carly looks just like my old golden retriever who died, Bailey
The best part was when the lady was showing the ID badge, the look on the dogs face was like, "yeah that's right bitches".
Carly has the face of an original gangster
Man, if I could have a job working with therapy dogs, I think I'd go to work happy every day.
She is lovely :)
Great work. So gorgeous.
I want to be able to do this! I would love to bring a dog in to help make people happier. :3
Yes, I could understand why people would rather approach an old and gentle dog than a human. Humans are judgemental, dogs are not.
That’s. Cute. Dog

I'm the opposite, I love the feathering of Goldens.. beautiful creatures in and out.
I would not want to know the kind of person that would abuse this dog.
10 hours a day is it not too much ? Theses therapy dogs never have holydays or rest day ? fOR JUST PLaying and socialize with other dogs;
What a wonderful dog. Dogs are amazing.
