The fact that you use the word "announcer" means you're probably not British, which means you probably don't see a lot of snooker. The point is that he needs to hit one of the red balls so it won't be a foul but also his opponent will need to hit a red ball next, so he should also leave the white ball in a position where it's hard for his opponent to pot a red. These shots did both.

Now that's finesse, never played snooker but I love 8 ball, it's even crazier to think that the diamonds aren't even on the table to guide your angles.

And the table is almost twice as big. I played snooker with a friend. A game usually did last over an hour because we were so miserable. It still was great fun though.

I don't think in the history of the game, or possibly the future, there has been anyone with such an instinctive understanding of the angles of a snooker table.

Don't really understand snooker fully but that is some amazing accuracy and control. Snooker is actually popular even here in the southeastern US believe it or not- all the pool halls I went to as a teen had snooker tables. I just never tried to play them cause I could tell it was much harder than 8 ball or 9 ball and I wasn't very good at either so- no point really. There are no pool halls anymore around here- not one. I guess no one wants to play anymore- now they play video pool on their phones.

Well done and thank you for what must have been such a hard and long task to create this video in promoting Ronnie's unsung moments of brilliance, I can see this is the norm for most videos on your channel, I'll subscribe to this as a reference!
