The daughter of a Korean adoptee, AleXa, also known to fans as Alex Christine, was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
A lifelong dancer, AleXa competed in Soompi's "Rising Legends", where nearly 1 million fan votes determined her the winner.
Shortly after being signed to ZB Label, she beat out thousands of contestant hopefuls, and was one of the 96 chosen to participate in Mnet's "PRODUCE 48", the most competitive audition show in Korea.
"Bomb" is her debut release.

I think Something about them limiting media or something idk, or maybe she just wanted to erase everything. She has a professional Instagram now though! And I’m sure you may be able to find some of her old covers and stuff up. I have pictures of her old cosplays and stuff she used to do but I don’t know if she wants those to be shared anymore honestly. I miss being able to see her post stuff like that and be more personal with everyone but I’m really excited that she’s making a career for herself!!

While this is her official debut (as the first in-house ZanyBros artist) , it isn't her first song. As the reward for winning "Rising Legends", she was given a full MV shoot. That song is "Strike It Up", kpop style but English lyrics, and it features well-known kpop reactor JRE. The making of that video is a web miniseries, "Legendary: Making of a K-Pop Star", look it up. When neither Soompi nor Cube (the producers of "Rising Legends") picked her up after that, ZB did. She got her start on YT doing dance covers, which is why she's so closely linked to YT'ers.
