Hi there -- here is a question for you. I have a number of documents based on a single template. Have you seen a way for me to automatically update the styles in *all* of those child documents, based on a change in the template? In your example you've done this for a single document, but I may (soon) have 100s of them in a collection, and I'd want to update all of the style definitions. It's not fun to do that 1 by 1!
Thanks for reaching out. I am really sorry to say that currently I don't have the solution right of the hat. Will look at it and come back when I find some solution.
Can you please slaborate on what worked and what didn't. Styles and some other formatting feature of one document is applied to other. If your old document doesn't have styles it may not work.
Hello Sir I have a problem My keyboard is only typing in accent like when i press ( a ) its automatically become (à,á,ā) same with other letters even I am not pressing any short cut key , when i press control for some time my keyboard went normal then this problem starts again. Plzz help me.🙏🙏😭😭
If your keyboard in Microsoft Word is typing accents automatically without you pressing any shortcut keys, it's possible that the language settings in Word or your operating system are causing the issue. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the problem: 1. Check the language settings in Microsoft Word: - Open Microsoft Word. - Go to the "Review" tab in the ribbon. - Click on the "Language" button. - Make sure the correct language is selected in the "Set Proofing Language" window. If not, select the desired language and click "Set as Default." 2. Check the language settings in your operating system: - On Windows: - Go to the "Start" menu and open "Settings" (gear icon). - Click on "Time & Language" and select "Language" from the left-hand menu. - Make sure the correct language is selected as your default input language. If not, click on "Add a language" to add the correct language and remove any unwanted languages. - On Mac: - Go to the Apple menu and select "System Preferences." - Click on "Keyboard" and then the "Input Sources" tab. - Make sure the correct language is selected in the list. If not, click on the "+" button to add the desired language and remove any unwanted languages. 3. Reset keyboard settings: - On Windows: - Go to the "Start" menu and open "Settings" (gear icon). - Click on "Time & Language" and select "Keyboard" from the left-hand menu. - Under the "More keyboard settings" section, click on "Advanced keyboard settings." - Click on "Reset" to reset the keyboard settings. - On Mac: - Go to the Apple menu and select "System Preferences." - Click on "Keyboard" and then the "Input Sources" tab. - Click on the "-" button to remove the current input source. - Click on the "+" button to add the input source again. 4. Check for any third-party keyboard or language input software installed on your computer. If you have any, try disabling or uninstalling them to see if the issue persists. 5. Restart your computer to apply the changes and see if the problem is resolved. If none of the above steps resolve the issue, you may consider reaching out to Microsoft Support or a technical expert who can provide further assistance.

Welcome dear 😊
good. thanks from Pakistan
Welcome dear.
Great tip. Does this method just applies the formatting to the currently selected open document?
Yes it does
I did this so much quicker before, with control/shift c and control shift v but it is not working now.
Ohoo, Ctrl shift c and v are shortcut for copy and paste format.
Hi there , I am applying exactly how you beautifully described/showed in the video..isn’t changing. Any suggestions please? Thanks
Can you please slaborate on what worked and what didn't.

Are you following all steps correctly? Also this method works only if your base document is formatted with headings and other styles.

It works only for document with styles. To make it work, You need to make your base cv doc with styles.
Did not work for me :(
Tried it at least 10 times!!
Important thing is it will apply styles formatting. Check if your doc has different styles.
