Hopefully, this fragrance will fill the void of Jubilation XXV by Amouage that I sold because of its poor performance.
I just bought Rasasi after about a year and a half... I tried this once in high heat at a party (in Poland) and this one was such a beautiful juice. Now I decided to buy for upcoming winter, this gonna be my signature (or home run) scent!

La Yuqawam is a real beast! especially the first spray out of a new bottle for some reason. Give it some time, let it grow on you, it will become part of your body eventually.
This stuff is addictive!! Funny part is when I first smelled it I was not sure if I loved it or hated it lol. Now after wearing it a number of times I absolutely adore it!! The not-to-sweet raspberry mixed with the smooth leather is a winning combo. I never smelled Tuscan Leather and honestly was not about to shell out that much anyway. I just wish I could get my fiancee to like it as much as I do lol. She thinks it is way too strong. Excellent review!!!!
La Yuqawam is amazing! 10+ and it's still on my skin. And I have always had Tuscan leather.. but I wont be renewing that. La Yuqawam does the job more. I even get more compliments with the La Yuqawam.. it's crazy 😄💯💯

To be honest, i own two of it, I noticed la yuqawam to be harsh at the opening. On my skin, la yuqawam is more leathery, only first opening has more fruity vibe. La yuqawam is just going very harsh leather and wood in my opinion while tuscan leather is well balanced from the opening to dry down. I do like the dry down of layuqawam, yes its very close to dry down of TL. But I just do not like the first 1~2 hour of layuqawam.
James Lee Totally agree with you, although for me its only about 15 minutes before i cant tell the difference anymore. But yeah, the opening is more harsh, miss a little more creamyness there compared to TL
Steve and Carlos are restraining from giving Rasasi props over Tom Ford. The other dude just keeps it real. I also prefer LY to TL because of LY's better overall quality and performance. It's okay to admit when a lesser known house does a scent better than a more well known designer/niche brand that primarily appeals to the wealthy. This happens from time to time. When it does, don't be afraid to speak the truth by giving props where due.
i have never smelled Tom ford TL but i do have the rasasi layuqawam pour homme and i am happy to have it insteasd of tom ford with a cheaper cheaper price, it smells fantastic

Tuscan Leather has Raspberry notes for days. Have to disagree with Carlos in that this smells NOTHING like new car smell at all unless you are driving a raspberry beret. See what I did there?
I have both fragrances but I really do inch towards Rosasi mainly bc of the price. Also, to me Rosasi is a bit stronger. However, I do luv my TL and OL.

Thanks guys Very confusing though Some say LY smells exactly like TL's drydown. Some say it goes in a different direction. I can't get a cheap LY in my country, and can't test it. In fact, I can get 50ml of TL around 25$ cheaper than 75ml of LY - what would you do in this case, go for the original ? Meaning, objectively (disregarding the price), is TL better than LY?

I like Godolphin the best, and layer it with TL to get the perfect result. BTW, in the case of OW, I ended up buying Thameen Carved Oud - it's better than OW on my skin and no layering is needed, so I skipped buying OW. The bottom line is - it's so personal (skin and nose) that you can't trust reviewers at all. LY turned into a flat cloying berry juice on my skin. No depth. No sophistication. For my picky nose, it is considerably(!) inferior to PdM and TF.
LaYuqawam some how doesn't last very much on me and i have to re-spray every hour, I thought I might gone nose blind but no one else around me smelled anything either, I'm pretty sure I have genuine fragrance bought through reputable source, Personally I like the smell but not sure how you saying Silage is good or last long on you...... not the case here......

Why have Carlos and Steven on your channel if you're not even going to give them an opportunity to assess the fragrance. Oi vey. If all you wanted was was their followers to give you a boost because of their names, the least you could have done is mention that it's a three-way dialogue review with "Steven from Redolessence" and "Carlos from BFL" on your header. Instead you had them on, crammed together like sardines at a little table, and basically wasted six minutes of their lives, and ours. You could have stretched that out into a twenty minute video dealing with the nuances and aspects/notes of BOTH fragrances. Basically; all you said was "this is a cheaper version of that" and "I won't be buying THAT again any time soon." What a slap in the face to Tom Ford, and what a waste of a good opportunity to share in the expertise/noses of Steven and Carlos. What did you get, performance anxiety? Come on.

Nabeel Arab Tradition is also crazy close and dirt cheep. I get 12 hrs longevity with it and to my nose, a touch more raspberry.

rasasi la yuquan is the most amazing thing i have smell this 2019...well, second best thing. This is just an epic fragrance.
Yeah it's great frangrance but I felt it has very low performance in terms of projection..
