Roland's piano themes shows he ironically can't get away from painfull memories, forgetting about pianist means letting his 'angel ' go. Which made Roland more pathetic.
They are well together but the violin is louder then the piano so it sounds more like they were recorded separately then edited together rather then actually played together as a duet

Honestly i imagine this as the music that would play at the max emotion level if Roland could manifest E.G.O (well, after the true ending) cause like, Roland saw Angela forgive him, and decided to let go of his sorrow and chose to do the same, now instead of his theme being only piano, it now has a violin (which is the instrument in Angela's theme) and no vocals
This song makes me want to learn violin, then wear all black, go out side, stand at the end of a dark street at night and plays the song when i see a woman walking alone while running straight at her
