I am one of the biggest Doors fan like the rest of the people here, I have all there albums on vinyl, that is because I am 65 years old. The Door and Ray were my teacher in music by listening to the Door. I learn left handed style bass playing on the accordion at first then went to the organ and the great Fender Rhode. I used Ray left hand bass player on any one, not just the Doors music. Like Rat mention many times in his video it is a mixture of jazz and Latin and etc. You remind me of me when I was in my 20's and I was getting flashback, I am really impress in your player, you would made Ray and the Doors very proud has I am proud to see young people like yourself keeping the real good music alive. You had me Rockin at my desk, good job, keep doing what you doing, you got it lick. By the way if you don't have one, get a Fender Rhodes if you want to, Ray was a big fan of the Fender Rhodes, might as well go all the way. Good luck, now I go listen to more.
Thanks a ton for the words man. You made my day. Luckily, I do have a Rhodes 73. I made a Riders on the Storm video. Hope you like it as well. I’ve been listening to The Doors since I was 13 and playing their music since 16yo. Ray is one of the reason why I became a keyboardist. I promise I’ll pass on the good music as far as I can. Good vibes!
What a musician you are! You really rock these Doors tunes :-) I just love watching you play and WOW, have you mastered that organ! Terrific vocal, too! I think Jim Morrison would be smiling for sure if he saw this. What a rockin' medley, delivered with great passion and soul. EXCELLENT! ~Jackie
PFranciscooo Oh my, you deserve such praise. Everything you do is done with remarkable ease and great style! This music lives in your and you should be very proud of your musical accomplishments. My pleasure to watch and listen! Take good care and happy holidays to you :-)) ~Jackie
Classical Jams - Passionate Piano You’re very very kind, Jackie. The comments you leave always make my day and there are not enough words to thank you for it =) You too take care, wish you happy holidays and goody good vibes! =D
PFranciscooo You're welcome. I really mean it. You are really wonderful. Perhaps one of these days I'll get around to a Doors cover myself. You are one inspiring young man! Happy Holidays to you also! Take care, ~Jackie
Classical Jams - Passionate Piano I’ve watched your videos Jakie and I’m sure you will do excellent on Doors. Thanks again for your kind words =D Merry xmas and a prosperous new year! =)
This is great, my friend! You transformed "Changeling" from its Hammond sound to work like magic on the Gibson! You are an amazing player, and the Gibson is an amazing organ...I REALLY miss mine! Super video!
I'm glad you liked it. Thanks a bunch for the support! Sure it is really great... now I can tell =P You should get a new one. Don't give up! Good vibes! =)
Good job man, this song is sooo groovy one of the best riffs Manzarek has ever written. He was such an amazing musicians, thanks for sharing his magic through your talent. :)
damn good, id recommend you sing more, as you have a great voice for it... saw the hand written lyics to the changling at a hardrock, along with Jim's cigar butt,. made an impression, loved the song even more!:)
Though I don't feel I have that much of a 'rocker voice' , I'll try to sing as best as I can! That's great... hope I see them in person too. Thanks a ton for the support!
François The French I'm glad you liked it. I use a virtual instrument called Fxpansion BFD. I'd say the bass line of Alabama is a bit more difficult than Changeling's but they are not that troublesome. You should try! Thanks for the support! =)
I want to also add you should make more g101 videos people don't make them enough there sound is probably my favorite out of every 60s combo organ even a vox. I have been trying to get my hand on one for a while now seems I have bad luck maybe the community is too small. Overall you are an amazing player I have watched this video over again many times you are truly like Manzarek!
I’m planning on doing so. I’ve been kind of busy with another project but I’m about to finish. Yeap, the G101 is very special... my favorite combo organ too! I got mine from Craigslist, but I would only recommend that if you’re able to see the keyboard by yourself first, otherwise you should try Ebay. Thanks again for the support. It is very welcome!
Sure, just mention me as the performer. But I think you should also point The Doors as the authors, at least for “The Changeling”. Thanks a ton for the consideration!
You sound great. 2:06 do you mind If you could tell me the notes for your bass line(left hand) and melody for The Changeling that would be very much appreciated. I've always wanted to learn this song
I think there's a sheet out there for Alabama. but I never trusted those. Aside the fact I'm not that good of a reader ( n_n' ) I always found them inaccurate. I learned them both by ear.
Alison Marcel I bought the Gibson in the U.S. and I made the bass out of a Rhodes 54 I found here in Lima. A safe way to buy them would be via ebay. Just keep looking. Good vibes!
Lo traje de los yunaites. Yo llevo años buscandolo aca. Hasta donde se el mio es el unico. Al parecer en la epoca solo llegaron teclados italianos y japoneses. Gracias por comentar!
You rocked these! Ray would be proud.
Your words are quite welcome!
I come here from time to time. I really enjoy it

yes, I had a G101 too, but for some stupid reason, I sold it off back in 1975. really miss it, too.
I m missing Morrison
@Michael Furia Don't be hard on yourself. Occasionally they come out for sale on ebay. You still can get one back =)

@@PFranciscooo there is a junk one on reverb I think the Chicago Electric Piano Company has a Kalamazoo
It seems so. Unfortunately those on Reverb are long gone. The one on the other site is a bit expensive but maybe it's been fully restored.
@@PFranciscooo they finally got back to me it a Kalamazoo they are fully restoring it would cost me 3000 shipped but it would be worth it to me
I'm very happy to hear so. I think it's worth it too!

Great version !! Do you have sheet music for the changeling by any chance ???
I'm afraid I don't =/. Thanks for the support!
You sound great. 2:06 do you mind If you could tell me the notes for your bass line(left hand) and melody for The Changeling that would be very much appreciated. I've always wanted to learn this song
The song is on Aminor (later it goes up one semi tone). With the bass I'm doing A,E,A,E and G,E,G,E basically that.
fantastico!!!
Grazie!
NICE!!!
Thanks! :)
Por que hay 11 dislikes !!es un genio el pibe!!
Así pasa cuando sucede =/. Muchas gracias por tu apoyo! =D
perfect!
Thanks!
Holy crap Dwayne from lil Miss sunshine!
Shhhh! Do not tell anyone! 🫣 😁
I still don't know how you can play 2 different keyboard lines at once? Anyways great job!
It's all about feeling and practicing!
0:11 If could please tell me those notes for the start, that would be much appreciated
The overall chord is Am. At that part I play two notes together C+E and D+F.
Awesome as always! What keyboard is that again?
The organ is a Gibson G101. Thanks a bunch for the support!
Do you know where I could get the sheet music for this? How did you learn if?
I think there's a sheet out there for Alabama. but I never trusted those. Aside the fact I'm not that good of a reader ( n_n' ) I always found them inaccurate. I learned them both by ear.
👍✌😎 wow great
Thanks!!
With which device do you realise the drum line ?
Top!!!!!!
Thanks a ton! :)
Where can I get Gibson g101? It's even more rare than vox continental.
The usually go for sale on ebay at least once a year. Check it out!
where did you find a Gibson and Rhodes bass?? I want one but I cant find.. thanks
Alison Marcel I bought the Gibson in the U.S. and I made the bass out of a Rhodes 54 I found here in Lima. A safe way to buy them would be via ebay. Just keep looking. Good vibes!
PFranciscooo you have a sheet of this song?
Alison Marcel I'm sorry, I haven't made one =/
Since what year you are playing keyboard (I mean how old were you when you started to play a keyboard?)?
I begun when I was 8 years old aprox. :)
PFranciscooo that’s so cool because you did not lose motivation at all, when I was 15 , i started playing, but then I gave up
It is never too late. Try it again! :)
PFranciscooo true, I’m will start when I will get some money to buy a really good keyboard
I'm sure you will! Good vibes!
muy buenaaaaaaaaa
Gracielas!
What organ do you occupy man?
I play a Gibson G101 combo organ
@@PFranciscooo thanks man!!!
👍
😊👍
Where did you get the drum track?
I made it myself =)
If that's the case... I salute you!
Andrej Ivanovic Thanks!
Que órgano ocupas bro?
El órgano es un Gibson G101
The Doors is Klezmer
Get loose! 😎🚬
😎👍
@@PFranciscooo
I'm a PFranciscooo fan 🙂
I really like your Doors covers.
You flatter me. 😊
I nall honesty, The Changeling Melody sort-of sounds like the basis of Funky Town. At-least to me it does.
As far as I know The Changeling is supposed to be a tribute to James Brown, so it’s natural it could sound a little bit funky.
Faz uma vídeo aula
eu não sou um bom professor 😔
Took a bit to realize thats not a 66 bass lol
hehe yeap. It is a Rhodes 54 who was reborn as a Piano Bass!
@@PFranciscooo I always get fooled by the sparkle tops I guess I don't look at them long enough and that is really cool also!
Sparkle tops always catch the eye =P
