these look like a very solid and attractive option from Umbro! Really want to see them back on the football map and compete with the big guys like Nike and Adidas
I honestly like the package of a lightweight power and control boot. But the synthetic suede showing makes it look cheap, like what a Hypervenom Phade looks like.
Umbro makes fantastic quality shoes. However I miss their sx valor shoe. Outstanding shoe. I have a pair and they are in good condition + 80 matches and 200-300 training sessions.
Best boots I have owned. So comfortable and extremely durable with exception of studs (the studs did wear away after a couple of seasons). Took a few wears to break in but my god are they comfy
Just picked up a pair to add to the collection. These older umbro boots punch way above their weight (cost). These and the medusae 2 pro are my personal all around favorites right now and I have entirely too many pairs of boots.
I really like wearing these shoes cuz they are really comfortable, but the orange heel liner at the back dyes your socks if you sweat a lot on your feet

hi Josh i have a question with regards to the umbro UX Accuro pro.. since the upper is made of micro fiber will the overall stability of the boot be an issue?
I've been playing in the Vigor 1's for the last two seasons. The heel lock in those has frustrated me at times. I even poked holes in them to make another lace hole toward my ankle to get a better lock down feel. Ordering these off eBay for $120 Canadian tomorrow. I think it's a good price for these. I have never tried these on but I'm trusting your review. Your thoughts on the price and the heel lock compared to the Vigor 1?

Josh, I just got the Vapor 11s and was really excited to wear them. Once I started playing in them I quickly realized that my heel kept slipping causing me blisters. Later I took a closer look and saw that my heel is too high for shoe (like the shape of my heel going to my ankle is higher than the heel of the shoe itself). I took the insole out after, tried the shoe on and my heel fit a whole lot better than with the insole. Anyways my question is should I play without an insole or should I get a thinner insole and if I were to play without an insole will it be damaging to my tendons and bones or to the shoe itself? Thanks!
I am looking for a pair that fits wide feet, have used the tiempo legend. And they fit perfectly, but I want some that lighter and better running in. What do you recommend? :)
The Tiempo Legend is what I would consider to be one of the best options in that style of shoe. If you're looking for something similar, there isn't necessarily anything else that I would recommend that will be better.
i've always struggled to get soccer shoes as i have very tall and fat/wide feet...as an example, i tried a pair of the "adidas ace 16.3 cage" (wich are a lot different than the normal 16.3 or 16.4) and my feet wouldn't even go half way through as they're so narrow... so, you reckon these accuro would fit? sport stores around here carry so little that there's no way i'll be able to find these here to test them out... shoes that usually fit me well are those with "big" round toe boxes, like the ace 16.4

Hey josh! I have a pair of nike tiempo legend 6's and i saw there was a small separation between the soleplate and the upper. I was wondering if you had any suggestions on how to fix this problem and if this is an abnormal thing to happen to these boots. Thanks:)
that sort of separation is very normal. I'm pretty sure there isn't a good way to fix it, but it's not a very big problem anyway. it just means the durability is wearing off.

Buying these when a nicer colourway comes out. They're lightweight, comfortable and should be durable as Umbro's quality recently has been brilliant.

These will most likely feel more secure in the heel in comparison to the Vigor 1.

They're in comparison to the Velocita, yes.
how long has umbro been making cleats?
Josh I recently got superflys and everytime I try to slip them on my socks bulge up I was wandering if buying sock size 6-8 would help I'm a 8.5 btw
If your socks are bunching up, they're likely too big, so getting a smaller size would make sense.

You have to go by how it feels I guess. If you can find a thinner insole, that would be ideal as opposed to wearing them without insoles.

I honestly couldn't say. There's decent width through the mid-foot, but the forefoot and toe box area isn't particularly wide.

Small separation with any shoe is fairly normal. There's nothing you can really do to fix it.
