I know this video is specifically to help this nago player but as a testament player this has given me some insight to what I need to do and stop doing in this mu. Be more patient, watch blood gauge, and to lab & practice more structured offensive
I might not bug you for a replay review, but I just want to thank you for doing this all, Hotashi. It's really nice to see someone really going out of their way constantly trying to make knowledge commonplace. Please, keep it up!
For instant air blue kick you can also just do Dash macro->dash macro->backwards->RC Which is much easier. With nago, because he has no actual forward dash (the animation of forward dash consumes your backdash buffer;explained in final paragraph) you can even just do: Dash macro->backwards->RC and it works if you plink the inputs. Hotashis "half circle back" just happens to have a back input in it lmfao. Its way easier. You can practice very easily by turning on input history and just doing dash->dash->backwards press. If your inputs are 3 distinct button presses and you backdash despite not having actually input backwards+dash simultaneously, thats the timing. The game buffers your dash press for a few frames to make backdash inputs more lenient, but it uses the ACTUAL direction of your input dash to determine RC drift direction, which is why this tech works. You can get a forward RC with the dash inputs, and get a backdash by just inputting backwards soon enough after your last dash, giving forward air RC. Then just time the jK. As for why other characters have to use 2 dash inputs, the dash animation clears the buffer for backdash (to enable dash blocking) but the short recovery animation between dashes does not, so the first dash input is just to put your character in an animation that doesnt clear the input leniency buffer.
About the contrast on the video…for some reason if you try to directly upload something to TH-cam from PSN, it comes out looking like this Also, thanks for the time and work you put into these videos! I always find them helpful even when I don’t play any of the characters featured
Why dont you use the 66dm4rc for brc overheads since it leaves you closer? I assume it would be way better for nago since he cant just dash up afterwards
Nago still way too random for test to beat consistently you have 1 burst and die in 2 combos but he gets burst back while youre trying to be cute zoning him
And I haven't 6H Rc'ed since. Hotashi is the goat 🙌🙌
not to diss on my fellow test players but the buffs on arbiter and tp made people forget how unreliable they can be most of the time
Yeah learning testament after arbiter buffs makes it way easier to fall back on as a habit even though it sucks
@@ThePoodleI feel like the more I throw out Arbiter the more brain cells I lose and lose my plan of attack

Man, I'm actually thinking about coming back to this game. So much I have yet to learn.
godlike content, would love to see more
Nago is really cool as a character
And he looks sick too
"how often do you block 6Ms in Dragon Ball FighterZ, former DBFZ main?"
Never, shit is reactable but feels like true mix lmao
Had a skill issue and got killed by arbiter sign just before top 48 yesterday I was so mad. Literally couldn't believe I let myself die to it.
