I recently got into cacti/succulents and my heart is broken when I see those little dudes painted, glued, etc. Many of them take years to grow into large specimens and from a very young age they are doomed to suffocate under a layer of paint.

Hi Svetlana, I loved the beginning of this video, I love seeing how happy Balu always is and so great you got to see your wonderful grandma. I also loved seeing all of those beautiful plants but also get so creeped when there are alot of pests and stupid bugs and spider webs on plants and then all of the dust and things that make a dirty mess on plants and I agree with you not wanting to take a plant home with the pests and make a mess of all of your beautiful and healthy plants in your home. I also love seeing Agnius your sweet husband now. I really love alot of the plants you saw that I have in my home, the only thing I have been dealing with are those stupid mealy bugs, that I have been treating to get rid of them and they are leaving slowly and that makes me so happy because I have lost some of my favorite plants because of those darn mealy bugs. I also really liked some of the succulents that were very colorful and looked nice. Another great video, Svetlana. Your family get together for your grandma's birthday was fabulous. My grandma made to be 100. Her birthday was on February 11 and on February 14 on Valentine's Day, she went to Heaven. ❤ It's been several years ago. Anyway, your apple cake looked delicious...Yummy! And your hike through the woods was almost magical. The mushrooms looked huge. As for your trip to see the plants😲🤐😵😱I can say this was your first spooky story with the bugs over taking the plant world. Look away...look away😁

Hi Svetlana. Can you imagine if the Russian folk stories/fairytales that we used to hear as children got translated,that would be scary,but would make great drawings. At the time they seemed normal but now when I hear them,I think, ‘what the heck’😅

As soon as you showed it, my musical brain had the Baba Yaga piece from Mussorgsky Pictures at an Exhibition playing in my head. I actually have a student that learned it last year and it was really fun telling her what the music was about. Can’t wait for your video and fairy garden

@@fireflyintheroom not sure if certain performances would be copyrighted. The music itself is public domain. My best friend recorded it so I can try to find out and see if I can send it his track to you, if you can’t find an uncopyrighted version online. I can also just record it on my phone for you though my piano needs to be tuned desperately 😂🤦🏻♀️.
Depending on the vibe you might want the orchestral version instead of solo piano, which Ravel orchestrated but I don’t know how copyrights work for orchestral recordings.
