You can’t cast iron into a sword because cast Iron has such a high hardness but is extremely brittle, hence why any swords that were made of iron before steel became widespread were forged. Bronze is still the only metal that can make effective cast swords. If a bronze sword ever breaks or bends horrifically it can just be melted down and cast into a new sword.
That's not how cast iron works you need to melt iron and pour it in to a cast, what this guys is mix powdered iron with resin and poured it into a mold

Well, if you want a usable blade, you should cast it to be a large rectangle, then forge and sand it. Works well as a prop tho!
