Honestly this version sounds better than the original so much power. Pop punk wouldn’t exist without dag nasty. Favourite song of mine off that album for sure, thanks for putting this out guys

Four on the Floor was one of the first punk Cd’s I bought in the early 90’s. I played this one a bunch. Didn’t know why it wasn’t massive at the time with everyone I knew, but I think them not touring behind it was the biggest reason. Dag didn’t make a bad album with Dave. They even made great reunion albums, which isn’t common for most bands. I got to see Down By Law on the 2nd Warped Tour and they killed it. Good to see and hear you still making music Dave. I recently started working for an old friend, a dude from the 90s scene here in Detroit. Last week he asked me if I remember seeing ALL a bunch of punks & skins in 1994? I was flooded with memories I'd nearly forgot about entirely! DOWN BY LAW opened, as the two bands they were on the road together. They were terrific, as you'd expect. ALL was flawless, as you'd also expect. The best part was ALL doing an encore with Dave Smalley singing...I think it was "Wrong Again" and "Just Perfect" from "Allroy for Prez" if I'm not mistaken.
WOW. 30 years ago, and I am amazed how much stuff I have forgotten or misremembered.
But that show...I totally remember it now that he brought it up. My favorite ex-girlfriend drove us, just as she did at least twice a week at a time when the Detroit hardcore scene was in on fire! But I can't, for the life of me, remember my buddy being going with us. I vividly remember Stephen Egerton, the bald dude in ALL/DESCENDENTS saying, "Do you guys want Smalley to come out and do a song?" Fun times.
Dave Smalley is in my top five punk/hardcore singers of all time! (Joe Strummer is number one!)
