BUT can i just point out... the bass player has such articulation and feeling and perfect execution and his action on his bass is pretty high-- which-- let's be honest we all know that's how you get zero buzzing and perfect intonation but damn does it take discipline so kudos to my man god bless these dank fools

Yes, it is unusual to hear a bass player do a solo like that, that is clearly not his only instrument.
