So we visited this amazing place again for Christmas and New Year, with it being a new hotel and many asking on facebook about the hotel and island we created a TH-cam video to show you all we can i.e the hotel.. island tours.. etc! It is a long one but you can have a flick!
It is an amazing resort and we would recommend if your looking for a lovely relaxing holiday and amazing holiday with incredible locals and staff in the hotel.

We used Edgar Piers for all our tours etc he will literally help you with anything you need when you are over there (he is featured later in the video)

One of the most informative videos We've seen.
We own a property in CV & still not done all of the things featured in this video. Some people say take a good book to read cos there's nothing to do in CV. How wrong they are. It's a fantastic island with lots to do. There's plenty of nice places to eat, drink & have fun. People are friendly & the culture is a pleasure to experience.

We went there Nov/Dec 22 fantastic hotel had a great time group of 4 ate and drunk everything no health issues done a few tours with Edgar’s tours great guy. Also went out and about to restaurants and pubs no issues. Get out there and enjoy.
I will go there from februari 4th 2022 for 8 days. Thanks for introduction on this place and hotel!

Which hotel is better? RIU Funana or RIU Palace Santa Maria?
The palace is much better and newer hotel gets the branded drinks and optics in room , the funana doesn’t
Great video! I am looking to go in July this year... how windy is it compared to other places abroad? It is a toss up between here and Crete for my decision - the beaches look amazing here but I am slightly worried about the wind.

It’s not meant to be as windy in July only really the winter season, we have been twice and the wind is not that bothersome it’s nice but catches you out so make sure you put lots of sun cream on! It is really nice , we love this hotel compared to some we stayed in at Rhodes much better food and hotel is amazing! :)

Top video mate, going next month. Do they all use euros as per the activities cards or the local currency? Finally, does it have to be cash? Not sure what to do for spending money..
Yes can use euros for everything there, some places do take card :)

Hey! It is windy November - May but the wind isn’t too bad you don’t really feel it as it’s so hot it is nice and can catch you out a few days we got really burnt! Lots of sun cream is a must!

In Cape Verde they have there own currency called escudos but it’s a closed currency so you can’t buy outside the Cape Verde, you can take euros and they prefer them as it’s worth a bit more to them! All places will have change in euros etc and a lot of prices for things are in euros :)

No it’s not necessary. Just take good mozzie spray with a high deet content. You can also buy wrist bands or a plug in your room! Questions are fine :)
