basics of it was is that i am a grown up now with a full time job so this took REALLY long (been working on it since last year)
hopfully the next one (IF THERES a next one, harpercollins back off) wont be as long, and maybe possibly i can find help doing drawin/storyboardin/editing so i don't do it all myself

Fireheart's and Sandpaw's/Sandstorm's relationship here feels better and actually more realistic than the book one. It makes sense for Fireheart to call her out for her sh*t, and for Sandstorm to actually seem to feel bad about it. Perhaps her playing with Fireheart was a way to try to cheer him up. When he yells at her for how she treated him, she looks like she's thinking and seems sorry, and her "I don't hate you..." and her face along with it felt real. Kinda really felt like a former bully who has formed a crush on their previous rival being confronted with their past actions, their rival's anger, and sort of a wake up call, and sorry and hinting at their true feelings. Hope we can see more realistic development of her than the books. Although this is a whacky series, and I love it that way.
Ikr also I feel like they will have way more chemistry than they ever had in the books. FirexSand is my favorite Warriors shipp of all time, I'm excited to see how it will turn out!

"I'm an adult now" is really relatable. That transition from being a high schooler, to moving out and having a full time job is rough. As an artist as well it totally changed how much art I was doing and the content of it

This episode was too much lol. Yellowfang making no sense, the troll Brackenpaw, Fireheart and Greystripes fight, Firehearts rage, Smudge's villain arc???? Bluestar becoming a robot for a bit, Cloudkit being way too cute, Ashkit and Fernkit are seriously the best. Like the two of them are so wholesome as twins, it's so weird knowing one of them too well.

I loved smudges part lol I love his and his sisters accent as well. People like to make evil smudge AUs and having FireHeart and then firehearts twin sister leave him and his own sister betray him is a perfect reason for him to be angry. I feel Fireheart leaving wouldn't be enough but THEN sending the kitten HE named away?? I'd want revenge too lol I wonder if they're setting him up to maybe be SCOURGE or bone???
I wish the real writers would have kept up ferncloud and ashfurs relationship. Especially after their mother died and then fern lost a few kits.... I love watching AUs of that as well
(Ferncloud kits passing is written so brutal each time as well as when Windrunner lost hers. The way they describe the she cats wails and pleas for starclan to take them instead.....is hard to read but it's beautiful too also Dustpelt and Fireheart have a sweet moment where they embrace after the second kit passes)

The comedy is on point and feels natural. The characters really just feel like silly versions of themselves from the actual books, and it works perfectly.

Smudge;s sister being in a relationship with Princess has to be the twist of the century. I have a bad feeling Smudge is gonna join Bloodclan or something.
I thought surely this series had been like copyrighted or something but I really liked this episode. I can see the clear improvement of art in color, style, and pacing. It felt so natural as both a cartoon and a story that I nearly forgot it wasn't its own thing. I really like this adaptation for its comedy while still keeping its tone.
Hopefully it's parody enough to keep going (assuming bok bok choy has the time and want to finish it), it's one of the most unique and entertaining warriors adaptations

I think as long as they don’t rip off exact quotes/scenes from the original it’s probably fine, in here it looks like they’re keeping the major plot points while tweaking the side plots for funnies. So I hope it’s different enough that it doesn’t get striked? Who knows

ok but yall took a fucking DARK turn on smudge. ya'll made him go borderline insane and i am LOVING it. the books would've been better if smudge slowly went insane as he lost his best friend, found his best friend's sister and manipulated himself into believing that princess is rusty, losing her and being completely alone again, growing an unhealthy obsession and being harmful towards both the cats around him and himself, being willing enough to do basically anything just to have rusty to himself. an uncontrollable obsession, sapping at his energy and sanity as he loses his mind over the only cat he'll ever love. the only cat he'll ever need. he needs him. he needs rusty and he knows rusty needs him too. he just doesn't know. he needs to make him know. he needs to make him know that he is all he needs. he is all he will ever have. the forest cultists still hate him, they would kill him if they got the chance. he's better off in a twoleg garden with smudge where they can be together forever. but they aren't. because rusty can't see what's right in front of him. he's foolish. he's idiotic. smudge hates him. he fucking hates him. but he loves him just as much. he can't live without him. he won't live without him. he will have rusty all to himself one day...

As someone with no time to read every single WC book there is, this is my first time seeing Ashkit and Fernkit and I already love them. Creepy identical twins are very neat in my opinion.
I really hope this survives the Warrior Cats Animated Series Purge of 2023, this is easily the best of the WCA projects that are/we're in production and yet they'd NEVER approve of this series for a kids book series they're milking to no end. Here's to the return

They won’t take it down, it’ll go under fair use due to it being a parody. Pretty sure they’re just taking down series that copy the books word for word. So people can just watch the video instead of buying the books if that makes sense

I just found this series out from a friend, its 4:35 AM and I'm watching the entire playlist.
It's AMAZING. A Warriors animated series that not only got past the first book -- but even went on to the next?! You guys are awesome! Keep doing what you do.

I know it's just by chance, but I sorta like how similar whitestorm and bluestar are in appearance, considering their family. This was amazing, and something that is very underrated is how the characters, while obviously being very silly, they still maintain their respective charm that was in the series, its funny, without being over the top. This is entertainment at it's finest, great work.

There is absolutely no reason for this series to be as perfect as it is. It's so rewatchable, and honestly it never gets old. I love that it stays true to the books, but still manages to be hilarious.

This is SO CUTE!!! I absolutely adore Sandpaw, Smear, Yellowfang, and Bluestar here! Not only is the artstyle SUPER creative, the writing is also incredibly funny and heartwarming. Seeing Sandstorm actually having fun with Fireheart was adorable! I can't wait for more, but also take as much time as you need!
i do think that WCA is safe due to it not really being a 1 to 1 retelling and it being more comedy focused!!

I CANNOT FULLY ARTICULATE HOW MUCH I NEEDED THIS IN MY LIFE!!! WCA is back and it's even better than I remembered! I almost forgot how much I love this writing style! This series is one of the few I've seen that genuinely makes me laugh out loud in a room by myself. And everything look and sounds so BEAUTIFUL! The character designs are wonderful as ever, and the backgrounds, voice acting and general artistic direction are amazing! All the little running gags, all the goofy details like the Chernobyl squirrel and the laser eyes, all the wacky caricature personalities, all the super expressive visuals, all the jokes with perfect comedic timing and delivery, every voice line delivered with such strong character and expressiveness... every shot and scene in this series has always been packed with creative passion and love. I can feel it in every second of this video, how much genuine passion and effort went into making this fun series worthy of people's laughter and attention. And I love it! To everyone working on WCA, I just want you to know that I LOVE your work and I LOVE you! Stay awesome fellas.
