God. The studio. I used to go to the teeny nights there in the early 90s, before it changed to the Ritzy (aka the Shitzy). Despite what some people with rose tinted glasses will tell you, a lot of nightclubs back then really were awful - it's being young that's the great thing, whatever era you're in.
People laugh at this & say its corny. Yes, corny games were played but it was all done in fun. This time in clubbing was the greatest, it had happy vibes & people just danced the night away. You could walk home after happy with your bag of chips or kebab, without thinking your going to be attacked. I'd hate to be a part of this generation now, the clubbing scene compared to what we had is garbage & full of posing fake wannabes & trouble makers. Long live The Hitman & Her. Great upload, thanks.
I think you're looking at the past through rose tinted glasses. I used to go to the studio here - and many other clubs in that period. If anything, I'd say it was twenty times worse then than it is now. People drank much more back then than kids now, and violence (sometimes quite serious) was much, much more prevalent then than it is now. When you're young, everything is amazing and innocent - when you get older, the stars fall from your eyes. You tend to think everything now is terrible and everything in the past was amazing. That just isn't the case.
