Wow this mom gibbon is fierce and confident when Laly’s mom (Ginger?) is nervous and troubled. I feel sorry for her. This baby is precious! Please tell us about this family TVWildlife. ❤
Wow he looks so different then Laly did! Mom acts different too. Lalys mom seemed more nervous and protective. The first day she went onto the ground to and kept curling around Laly and checking her. Even after she always tried to hide Laly. This mom seems to be more comfortable.
Does this new one and Laly share the same father? Is this her first baby ? Definitely has a LOT of hair . Mom gives her baby milkshakes, that’s so sweet of her,lol .
Yes. I am quite sure, there is one male Gibbon, with more females. These people are using them for breeding purposes...I think we wont see much of Laly from now on. :( Gibbons are fetching thousands on the black market. 😢
Gibbons mate with one partner 90% of the time. The male shown here looks different than Laly's dad. Also, it appears that Laly's parents are in the cage together. From what I read, dad shares parenting responsibilities. Because Laly's mom/dad have been captive their whole life, they may not know much about rearing a cub.
That would be wonderful Michelle! But I do not think so. A gibbon baby raised in a cage, like this, without ever learning to climb and swing on trees cannot be rehabilitated... 😢 They'll be sold eventually to the highest bidder. Black market. 😕
He or she definitely has more of dad’s genes! Incredible how much different this one is compared to little laly and their development is so much different than other primate cousins. Laly , it was my first time actually seeing a newborn gibbon up close and being able to watch her grow and change so much and it’s really cool to witness. This new one, mom is definitely a lot more vocal than Laly’s mom and I wish that they would show her whole face when she is being vocal . I can only imagine how strong their jaws are.
Родился с усами,видимо мальчик.

She also "sings" beautifully to her partner...💖... :) Even this baby is making more sound, Laly does not. :(
Judging by this mom’s nipples she has had a baby before.
@@Hun55Maybe because the mom is underfed and doesn't produce enough or good quality milk.
You can tell baby is so young, wants milk and sleep all the time. ❤Texas USA 🇺🇸
They sure are noisy!!
A most interesting form of music, their way of communication, called "singing". :)

Both parents are different gibbons than Laly’s parents. Gibbons are typically monogamous and pair for life.

@Hun55 I had a pet monkey channel show up on my feed. Guess what their latest acquisition was...a baby gibbon 😢

Are these gibbon families being rehabilitated to go into the wild?

It's a male!!!! Great. He's beautiful and mom is too.
