    A lot of people will roll their eyes and think "It's only her nails" but everyone has their own insecurities and you're helping her feel beautiful. That's a wonderful thing! I definitely want to see more of Ana's nail journey. She's come a long way in a short time!

    Just incredible transformation! I can identify with Anna being a reformed nail-biter turned nail tech, myself!...LOL. I feel for nail biters and always respected the Nail Techs/Nail Artists that had the patience and vested interest in helping me feel better about my hands and ultimately helping me achieve incredible nails and hands to be proud of! You're the best Anastasia! Love you and all your videos! Anna is probably so grateful to you for helping her obtain her dream nails and they are GORGEOUS! ❤️ The longer she is able to maintain her nails, by visiting you, the closer she will be to overcoming her nail biting habit! She is well on her way!👍🏻😊

      If you don't mind me asking (as I used to bite my nails as well and ruined my nail beds), did your nail beds grow back to normal? I hate mine 😞

    I just want to say thank you for the way you are speaking about the situation. As someone who has overcome 20+ years of nail biting, I would often feel ashamed by the way techs would talk to me at salons, which made me not go back. You are stating the issues and explaining how they affect the service and offering solutions to your client. THANK YOU

    Oh wow they really have improved. I remember the first video and they were in bad shape. I don't bite my nails but I pick my cuticles if I don't have my nails on. I get serious hang nails from it! Having my nails on pretty much stops me from doing that. It's definitely a nasty habit. I can't wait to see what they look like every time she comes back. Thanks for sharing and take care. 🥰

Unfortunately, I cannot use acrylic in the salon I work, so short bitten nails like that are a nightmare with Gel.

  • @mercedessalami4012
    @mercedessalami4012 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Lifting occurs when the nails aren't prepped properly. Any product has to have a base to attach to. You have to create small hills and valleys in the nails. I believe a nail tip with acrylic overlay would've been better. It would have created more of a base. As well tips give strength to the side walls of nails biters. You don't get a bunch of product buildup underneath. Just apply a thin layer on top. The base, tips give you are wonderful. building an acrylic base on the nail. After 2 or 3 weeks, there is going to be dirt makeup etc under that lip of acrylic. Products today can be applied thinly as well as strength! I will say the result was amazing. The eye hand coordination just to clean these nails was amazing!!! To watch the cleaning was great. Her nails were very sensitive. Nail biter a get that buildup because anything to chew or bite. The body grows faster. It's the bodies defenses against the wounds that are occuring. This client has so much stress or anxiety to bite that much. I wish her help in finding ways to make her life easier. Take one simple step at a time. It's much smoother that way. Then....... You build! Happy Nailing!

  • @Pandabee11

    I was a terrible nail biter. If I grew even a tiny slither of free edge, I wanted it gone. While my cuticles were in a horrific state. I found that painting my nails really helped me stop. I couldn’t see the free edge and prepping my nails, before colour, protected my cuticles from my teeth. My free edge is now about 2/3 of the length of the nail bed. It can be done, you just have to unlearn bad habits.
