I have four trees which are quite close together plum cherry apple and pear. Over a few years I've seen one tree have aphids and now they are all suffering from aphids. I've tried the solutions you offered but somehow the aphids are managing to cling on. I love these trees and have had them for 9 year their at a lovely height but I'm worried I might need to take them out because not one of them has been bearing fruit these past few years. The cherry tree has only 4 cherries on it. Which is devastating as previous years the apples and the cherries produced a large amount of fruit. What would you advice new trees or can I save them?😥

The ants will farm the aphids and protect them from the good predators using a sticky trap around the tree trunk one way to keep ant off or bait the ants also once aphids are gone ants should leave my two methods are if your aphids aren’t bad have plenty of predators around the ants will not let them eat the aphids
What's the second type of treatment you've suggested in this video, please? Couldn't quite catch it. My apple tree is badly affected with wooly aphids and new shoots are all curled up.
My apple tree will be 4 years old this spring and so far little yield. The leaves often look like they're chewed up or have holes in them and then turn yellow so I'm thinking aphids are the problem. I will try anything.

Isn't there a sticky tape or some kind of solution for the bottom of the trunk to stop the ants? Or did I just make this up.

How about putting Tree Tanglefoot on flaggin tape and spraying with peppermint oil (30 drops per gallon)?
