Exactly. Complex, classical-based compositions are never Suju chechi's cup of tea :) For complex songs like Varmukile, Padariyen, Karmukil varnante, Venuvai vachanu, Ee sundara beladingala Chithra chechi has to step in :)

Have you noticed Kaadal Rojave intro humming has pattern resemblance with 'Kathirolikal Padaarunnu' line from Koottil Ninnum (tough humming part is in a different Raga - Desh, both songs later follow the same raga Kapi too) . Pure coincidence?

Very funny! Any comments about the alap at the end of charnam portion of Shivadam Shivanamam :P ? Chithra chechi is light years ahead of Suju chechi in terms of talent as well. Can Suju chechi ever render an intricate composition of Raveendran master, Raja sir, Johnson master, Sareth sir, Keeravani sir, Hamsalekha sir etc? Most songs of Vidya ji are non-intricate, feel-good songs. Rahman sir made sure that most of his songs went to Chitra chechi. She was a part of his latest movie, PS-2. Suju chechi has not sung for him since 2010. Live singing is another area where Chithra chechi (SPB sir among the male singers) is unmatched. Suju chechi is a good singer but Chithra chechi will be always at the top.

😊....bro.... In case of art,comparisons are pointless...... According to ur bench mark, chitra chechi is superior to sujatha chechi.... അങ്ങനാണേൽ u have to compare janaki amma to chitra chechi.... Then compare s janaki to p sushhela.... Then compare susheelama to ashaji and then to lathaji.... U have to then think about comparing lathaji to other greats....leave it man.... It is pointless.... Let us embrace the contributions and sacrifices made by these greats to perfect their art....... Comparisons are pointless.... 😊👍🏻

@@mervintalksmusic She is, when it comes to voice clarity, technical perfection (even during live ahows) and her strong grip on classical music. She is a fast learner too. Many including Raja sir and Rahman sir have vouched that she can learn and render any song in in a couple of minutes. Suju chechi was successful only in Tamil and Malayalam. While Chithra chechi ran a single-woman show in Kananda and Telugu as well. Suju chechi's niche areas are soft, romantic and peppy numbers. I'm a great fan of both Chithra chechi and Suju chechi.

Suju chechi owe her entire career to Vidya ji and Rahman sir. They both helped her in getting into the limelight. Not denying the fact that Suju chechi is an excellent singer and certain songs of her such as Varamanjaladiya are astounding.

Tidal is a great option.... Spotify premium offers high quality files.... Then hi res audio website also offers good files.... But it is diffucult to get lossless files for indian music....
