The main riff was one of the first guitar riffs I ever learned. My guitar teacher at the time (and we are still friends today) had a massive passion for 80's heavy metal and hard rock, that was how she learned to play before going to music school, so she taught me a lot of great guitar riffs from that era of rock and metal. It was insane blasting out this riff on my BC Rich Warlock through my 100w Marshall when I finally got it down. Felt so good.

When they were Fab. late 80s. James was in Buster Brown few years prior...along with Johnny Edwards, who eventually came out west ( with James, at first) and Joined a band i was the drummer in, called Northrup. Heady Days....those Roarin' 1980s.....

To be honest, I found this band wrote more great songs than Led Zeppelin after I listened to their several albums. Their sound tone may sound similar but Kingdom come has its own originality of their songs.

I think the whole giant speaker idea was silly. Great band though. They sounded great on Monsters of Rock Tour. When the guitarist from Pittsburgh left it was over.
