The 1500hd was also the only truck that you can get the optional quadrasteer on. The back wheels would turn in the opposite direction of your front wheels to a small degree so you made much tighter turns. It’s a great idea but no one bought into it so it was a very short lived option.

Make sure you locktite the throttle body blade screws. Those Throttle bodies are known for losing screws and said screw ending up in the combustion chamber, you can use your imagination to figure out what thatll do, something similiar to clutch dumping noise complaint with slicks on the back lol. I tune LS/LT and its happened a few times to clients over the years and read about it dozens of times on forums.
That truck in the back of the garage reminds me of the truck I grew up in. 2006 ford f350 XLT 5.4 with the FX4 off-road package. Black with body color grille, chrome wheels. I miss that truck and i never see it around anymore.

I actually hopefully am getting a 02 1500hd. Also the noises are normal on the darker red truck only. It’s like the red doesn’t pop out enough so the trucks drivetrain makes it stand out more yk

this really reminds me of my friends dad, he also has a chevy silverado, but unfortunately its just sitting in the same spot as it has severe rust everywhere and the main reason it was parked was because ignition was completely screwed. maybe it will see a second chance like your truck did

I kinda learned the hard way to make nice with neighbors and to become their go-to person for help. When you're out fooling around with your cars or trucks, they don't care when they know you personally. You're not some random kid causing trouble, you're an actual person to them and they chalk it up to "kids being kids." With this crochety old man, go mow his lawn or help him fix up something. Hell, he's probably got a couple gems squirreled away in a garage or barn he's sell to you one day.
