I love this update. Not because I’ll get any of these implants but because I was on when it was announced and made like 5m in an hour flipping credits going from 28m cash to 33m and finally bought a chimney sweeper. Also I get a few more implant slots at my current level which is a nice change. Hope new updates keep coming.
Grinding 4-5 hours a day, looting SEZ + Boss hating in SEZ the implants are easily attainable. Average about 1.3m in scrap loot + ammo sales. Any big finds are extra cash on top. A lot run can easily become a 5m loot run if you find a solid 120 or blue prints. 100c = 2.8m-3m x 8 = 22m - 24m dvd by 3m = 8 days of looting. NOW, lets say you sprinkle $8 (aka buy 200 credits with real life money) you can now buy the implant with 5 days of looting + $8
I think this became a very long topic (happened on DF official Discord Server for the whole day) but actually is pretty simple: people wanted to have items that were reachable without spending cash worth your internal organs to obtain them, so Admin did this for the newcomers to make new challenges for the actual winners to measure their abilities and not their boosts.
Let's be honest: Admin always does this for money, because it is always not enough for him.
Now I gotta say I'd like to get my hands on this new items, because they are 'affordable' (if you grind bosses for a lot of time you'll get the money to win the implant that you want)
And the top ammount of money you need make this set of endgame imps as expensive as Ultra Boost (maybe 10-50m more expensive if credits get more expensive too).
There are two sides for this: people who's happy about it, and people who bought the LEs overpriced because of merchers.
I feel bad for the ones who got scammed (because is basically steal what you do to overinflate an item on the market making it truly exclusive) because they got the promise to have the endgame item they needed for running TS or TPK. I feel good about merchers that had to drop the value of this implants to something 'achievable' because merchers are worthless scum that deserves this.
I've seen only this day people that got LEs on the past overpriced quit the game, but in my opinion this 'update' has to be done. I'd like to say it needed to be done a long time ago with this LE implants, but it didn't happen then. It is a shame that right now the game seems to be changing for good (with all that Clayton is doing for Dead Frontier 3D), and I hope this tendency to make game 'fair' for new players keeps going, not by selling items that change the game rules on the Credit Shop, but to make the game fair for everyone who wants to play it.
They will cost you less than taking more to buy a uwc.
800 credit is pretty much the same as when they were release. I missed all the LE implants so I would have had to save up 1billion plus to get them. lucky I save my looting cash and got credits when it was cheaper. was saving for uwc but decided to get all the implants 8k credits out the window. Merchers got screw which I am not sad about.

I find it funny how people are selling their LE implants for about twice the amount of 1000 creds. Like bro get outta here that LE is obsolete now. If anything it should be the same price as 1000 creds and even then that's a stretch because for GM's the new implants are only 800 creds.
But honestly I think the new implants should of been weaker than the LE (like around 25% weaker). This is a HUGE slap across the face for LE owners.
It's kind of obvious that neil made it stronger than LE is because he wanted more money. If Neil made it weaker than the LE. veteran players wouldn't give a flying fck about it and decent players would just ignore it because 800 creds cost like 17 million.
I dont own any unique implants but the only one id get is the celebrity implant (11% speed) because walking around with a little speed boost makes me wanna throw myself out the window.

I'm glad I kinda gave up on DF1, about 3 weeks ago. I don't mind them releasing new Implants, I think it was needed. However, making them stronger than OG implants which people like me have acquired throughout the years while supporting this game for 10+ years is kind of a kick in the nuts. Neil is gonna be Neil I guess...

Yow, just came back playing df coz I saw you uploading constantly again. Damn, my weapon and build seems to be super outdated. Hope you do giveaways, 4 hours of playing and I got 400k worth of loots only this is even gold membership. Not sure if drop rates went down or I am just too unlucky.

Seems kind of dumb to not allow them to stack, like if youre gonna inflate the prices and make shit ridiculously priced atleast let the levels be crazy high and let people with the original LEs continue to use them. Same with what the guy said, once you get the boost it doesnt matter. Theres a certain threshhold you pass where the game gets omega easy, and the people getting these impants have passed that threshhold, so you should just let them go even higher
