Ur a natural artist❤so lovely!! I’m getting back into stained glass after many years, I am amazed by the sticker paper and pre cut patterns! Please share this time consuming processing!
What kind of paper and adhesive do you use for your patterns? I would like to try your method of rough cutting the pieces and then grinding them to size with the pattern piece attached. It looks like you get a more accurate shape than cutting only with the glass cutter. I think the pieces would fit together more closely, which is a problem I have always had.
You are probably thinking of “lead light” stained glass… pieces of came are cut to fit between each piece of glass, then each joint is soldered. Large windows, churches, restaurants, etc, construct using “leaded light” method. It’s the original method.
I have seen some pictures of birds made with neat little black dots for eyes. Do you have any suggestions on how to do that? What would you recommend to do birds' eyes?
Is soldering necessary is there any other alternative please I am interested to do glass cutting so please and also is it ok to smooth the glass by using sand paper I cannot get everything cause it’s too expensive so please give me alternatives please
When I was done with the whole thing, I tried to see how well things were put together so I bent along the line between two pieces of glass, it came off the cooper strip, is it normal or I did something wrong with my work?
I just discovered your channel through a TH-cam short, your work looks beautiful. I got excited and would like to learn how to do it. I can't imagine what a glass lamp is, the beauty. Regards from Costa Rica.
If you look around for a local stained glass supply store, or even online they will sometimes have bundles that are cheaper than buying tools separately. Also, if possible, it’s best for you to take a class in person because this is not an easy craft to learn. But, it’s totally worth it because you can build some really beautiful things. but I see people try it and then give up. Taking a local class will give you instructors who encourage you and show you tips and tricks!
@@Heartwing37 thank you so much. I love stained glass and was wanting to learn how to make it (found a studio in my area), but my mom has been wanting to ever since her first job (they said they would teach her but never did), I just had the idea to slowly buy her supplies and then pay for a class during her birth month and found a studio in her city. Again, thank you
How can i make a kite string on top of my stained glass? Is there copper wire or something? Also do I use a permanent marker to write on stick figures? Hope you can help this beginner and thank you for your videos!
As someone who already has a Cricut machine (oh, perfect for glass designs) and a bunch of newly started hobbies, (including a 3D resin printer I gave to my bro cos I couldn’t get the hang of it and he likes mini figures) this is VERY dangerous, not because glass is sharp but because I have zero impulse control, ADHD and am craving a new hyper fixation. Sometimes you just gotta tell yourself that you have fun hobby at home….yeah, no, brb, Amazon is having a Black Friday sale!!!! 😂😂. Xx
Love this!
Thanks! I use a matte sticker paper but it’s more of a vinyl material so the water doesn’t mess with it!
Do you make the patterns yourself?
so pretty! i love your work
thank you so much!
I just discovered this feed, and I’m in love 😍
Your videos are such a bliss ❤ it is encouraging to watch you do the stuffs and inspiring too.. to try something very new
Cut off solder from roll…. Less hand fatigue (could lead to carpal tunnel if you solder every other day). Also, try using less solder. Worked for me.

I would love to know where I can purchase the Butterfly
This is so cool. I'm curious if there is copper colored soder? The copper color looks so pretty.
I love the copper too! There’s copper patina that can be applied after to change the color of the solder!

What do you use to stick on the numbered peices?
I thought stained glass was made a completely different way 🤯
There actually are more ways, this one is called Tiffany! Maybe you knew another one

Eu procurava videos didaticos como o seu. Muito Obrigada! ❤
Very nice. How do you maintain a clean tip on you iron? What flux do you use. Thank you
I use tip tinner to clean the iron before & during the soldering process! I just use the studio pro flux!

Hi! Is this possible to do it in indoors? Soldering for example, does the fume generate a lot of smell?
Yes! Just make sure you work in a well ventilated area!
@@AmayaJade thanks so much💖 it’ll be amazing if you could show us your work room setup!! Not sure how i could set up ventilation for the fumes… haha
When you grind the glass, do you wear a mask?
The grinder is used with water so that the fray is collected in the water, no mask but eyewear possible
Very interested in purchasing Butterfly stained glass pattern and if possible as well kind and colors of glass you has use for this. Thanks
The pattern is available on my website! The glass is linked under my stained glass supplies (:
TYFS Are you going to show the mirror when it's complete? TY
I did! It’s my most recent video 💞
What app do you use to create your outline?
Procreate!
Soldering should be easy for me I used to do this for a living made pacemakers in other interesting things
I think lowering the music a little.. I kinda wanna hear more of the noise of you making the artwork.. 😮❤
do you make the designs too?
Yes I do!
@@AmayaJade do you sell the patterns anywhere?
They’re on my website linked in my description 😊
Really cool, but disappointed it wasn't the "full process" like the title said.
You have hand model hands not cut up and bloody hands. lol
Noooo not another hobby
