    Awesome idea! Because of this I finally got my rad relocate and did the same. Idk why but I put one hose on either side. I ended up getting a smaller hose from O'Reillys and sliced it down one side to slide in one the housing where the house comes thru worried about the house rubbing thru. So far for plowing had zero issues. About to get a brush gaurd for the summer

    Was with a guy yesterday on a tight trail who clipped his front storage box with rad relocate on. Rad relocate puts more stress on storage mounts. The whole thing dislodged and hose came off losing coolant. Designing an ideal cooling solution is challenging. There's always compromises to be made.

    Great idea! How’s this holding up?
    I’m thinking of doing the same with my 570.
    Have you had any branches or anything catch on the hoses?

      Holding up great so far. Only thing is the weight on top of the front storage box definitely pushes the limits on the front hinge

      Run machine til fan kicks on with radiator cap off

      Like David said, a couple "heat cycles" with cap off and air should be out. What I did when I filled it to prevent an air lock was pulled the upper rad off until fluid came out as I was pouring it. Put the hose back on and ran it. All good!

    Have you had any issues with the CVY exaust getting your belt wet? If not how deep are you going without CVT exaust water issues?

    • @fullthrottlehq1645
      @fullthrottlehq1645 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, unfortunately my belt is constantly getting wet. I'm trying for a solution for this! Hopefully I'll figure it out soon and make a video on it.

    I have a touring, I do like the new designs looks, but the front trunk has 1/4 if the storage. So saving that is even more important

    What kind of hose is that blue one? I’m looking at doing the same thing but not sure what kind to get for the heat and pressure. Also was looking for clear if possible.

    • @fullthrottlehq1645
      @fullthrottlehq1645 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's just a regular heater hose nothing special. I would recommend staying away from clear as usually hoses with a clear finish are more "plastic" than rubber.

      @@fullthrottlehq1645 Thanks for the reply. Is your system still working good? those lines didn't rub through or kink? I'm planning on doing my relocate in the next couple weeks as soon as my kit arrives.

    • @fullthrottlehq1645
      @fullthrottlehq1645 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Still good. No rubbing. No kinks. I've added rubber guards to the machine on high rubbing areas. No signs of wear.

      I thought the same thing.. But they are still in there! Wrapped them in rubber I had laying around to keep them from rubbing.
