I remember seeing all the hype and trailers for Isolation so I ended up pre-ordering it. Was extremely hyped for it and I ended up streaming it for some friends on my first playthrough. Needless to say, this game tickled my horror bone so well that a LOT of the time I spent so much of my time wandering about the station with my Motion Detector out, hoping whatever blip I saw on the screen was just another survivor or android. The atmosphere, ambiance and sound design was phenomenal. The lack of a soundtrack most of the time was such a good choice, the distant thumps, unknown footsteps and whether or not they were hostile, the electric hum of the lights, whether or not a hiss you heard was an air vent or the xenomorph waiting to ambush you, it only enhanced the eeriness of a once-thriving station reduced to a hunting ground for an apex predator. One of my favorite games of all time, glad to see you covered it! Looking forward to more videos.
That's awesome! It's always great when a game just clicks with you. I 100% agree with you on the ambiance, it was excellently done. I was honestly surprised Isolation turned out as good as it is.
I liked your joke. Additionally, it does my heart good to hear someone with your accent use "aforementioned". Great video, and I appreciate your insight into the franchise to provide proper context for the game.
I'm sure it is, I was just under the impression it was something we were supposed to figure out since it wasn't outright stated until later on. I was apparently wrong lol
I remember so many time of just "why would i leave from the safety of the table" when the alien was doing many loop arount my hiding spot. It was fucking terrifying. On an other note do you know the game obscure ? It's (from what I could find) the only coop horror game in the style of the first resident evil :3
I know it's off-topic but I decided to cut up a decent sized apple for snack to the video. I saw that the base of the part where it hang from the tree was black a bit, marking insects have eaten into it. Didn't pay much attention to it so I started to cut it up. The mark went deeper than expected but I ain't a scaredy kid, never was so I procceded. I kid you not, as I cut 3/4th of the apple, in the hole there was a Caterpillar. A live one. So I did what I must. Swept that parasite out of the apple, cut the rest and settled down for the video. I have become the Xenomorph and I eat your home😈
Ok what is your accent. I cannot place it exactly. I have guesstimated it down to either rural "american" or somewhat australian?? Please enlighten me, I could not focus on the terrific video because I was concentrating on your accent!!1! Please keep doing what you're doing c:
This comment made me giggle lol, thank you. It was originally a south eastern Texas twang, but I've moved a lot since then so it may have changed. I just call it an American southern accent.
What's your favorite Alien Movie? Is anyone going to see Romulus?
saw it yesterday, it was so fucking awesome (exept for one very bad visual effect). I cant wait for the tv series
also some shots in the film are so cinematic they could be a wallpaper or a painting
@@combineadviser3405 Nice! I was hoping it would be good.
I like the first Alien movie the most
I wish more games and media leaned into cassete futurism and had black and green crt monitors and stuff with space-age tech, it's such a vibe
I'm totally with you on that!

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
This video deserves to blow up 🎉
Thank you, I appreciate the support!
The video game version of "I don't care who the IRS sends, I am not paying taxes"
lmao 😂
I thought Samuels being a robot was common knowledge from the start, was him being a robot supposed to be in question?
I'm sure it is, I was just under the impression it was something we were supposed to figure out since it wasn't outright stated until later on. I was apparently wrong lol
comment for the algorithm.
Alien Isolation is sooo good! It has lots of dlc too, you should definately check that out if you wanna come back to the game sometime
