DIY Scythe and Sickle

- I built this scythe and used it to mow oats. See, the oats were a nurse crop that I needed to cut off around 12 inches above the ground to preserve green manure crop under them. The scythe worked well! I Also built this sickle to test if I could gather shocks of oats and it performed as well. In this video I'll show you how I built all this from scraps at my farm.
