How do you get good quality on my video I used these settings and it was still a blurry video with bad quality?
@@BergerEdits did u use obs?
Great. Straight to the point, and no BS. much thnx
Thank you so much for making this video! exactly what I needed to learn now I have the option to play with the FX3.
Tyler...your amazing at this!! idk what I'd do with out your amazing help! thank you!
So glad this could help, thank you!
Hey Tyler, Thank you so much for such a very good explanation...!
I think learning export settings is a beast of a topic itself aside from everything else Premier wise. Some of my videos are 1 hour long. Saving your setting as presets will save you a headache in the future between finished file size and export time.
I've had 45min videos export at 2.8gb and 2 1/2 hours to export and a 1 hour videos come out 14gb and 7 hours to export. It's extremely frustrating to see that 15min difference with maybe 20 seconds total of fx added can increase the file size that much.
use media encoder

Tyler, I am new to premiere pro and am struggling with the sequence and export settings. My issue is I film using gopros in 60fps, sony handycam in HD and sometimes my iPhone. I’ve tried to adjust me sequences to 23.976 and all that but when I do, my footage is not great quality on the screen. Not slow mo or anything, just seems to be kinda blurry. I was wondering if you could help me out with any pointers on what I may be doing wrong? Thanks.
Hey, not sure if you're still responding to comments, but I have a video I'm making public in 3 days and I was wondering if you could help me with making it look high quality when uploaded to TH-cam. It's in 1080p quality and approx~ 5 minutes, and I want it to look as good as possible for viewing pleasure. It's about a 20 minute process per render so help would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: Forgot to mention, file size is not a worry, I'm just focused on quality.
So, my question is, should I use CBR or VBR for the best quality, and what mbps? I did two render attempts, one with VBR 62.5 mbps and one with VBR 30 mbps. The first one got highly compressed, and the second one for some reason just didn't look as good as it did on the original video file, so maybe it also got compressed. I can provide more details if you need any, and thanks for the tips on the video! I'm trying stuff out until I figure out what works!
Hi, I'm new to video editing. After watching back the video it didn't look like it did before exporting even after following these settings. Also, every time I recheck the box for frame size it goes back to the previous settings. Any tips?
thanks
thank you!
Thanks for this video. I followed your settings but after I play the finished MP4, there is no audio at all. Thoughts?
I’m trying to combine 6 120mb clips but the final output is 7gb and I can’t find settings to make that better without setting the target bitrate to like 5
I learned in Tech school with Windows, but started a job that wants me to edit on MAC. What is IMPORTANT? Ex: Settings? She usually has RAW footage too. Ugh...Professional photog and I am doing B-roll and editing. Your EZ to understand! Thanks!
Hola, podrías hacer una segunda parte de un "Efecto VHS" o "Efecto Retro" o "Efecto de Película 16mm"? Por favor 🥺🥺❤️

whenever i put the frame size to 1920 x 1080 it puts it back to 1280 x 740. Also the same with fps, i put it on 60 and goes to 30?
I don't really understand the difference between CBR and VBR1.
In your case: CBR gives better quality but a larger filesize?
and VBR1 gives you less filesize but less video0quality?
Are you on M1? I can't export with CBR and VBR2 using hardware encoding, it is greyed out. That seems to be the case for a lot of people according to Adobe forums. I haven't heard the solution yet...
For some reason, when I changed my frames from 30 to 60 and then check the box, it goes back to 30. Why is this? How do I fix this? I haven’t always had this problem. Thanks I’m advance
Does this apply for slow motion videos?
Fuji user here, best camera settings for good clear video are .mov so whenever I try to export that into mp4 h.264 the quality gets sodomized badly. So far exporting the video from premiere in apple prores seems to do the trick until I have to upload the footage online
I dont have an export tab at the top so I have no idea how to continue :(
Also, theres so many videos on YT saying "click this, this and this" but not any videos explaining what each one is so we can make a decision for ourselves in our specific situations.
Might be an idea for a video.
hello my friend, thanks for your video. it helped me a lot. but i have a new problem. maybe you can help me? i uploaded a video and everything worked on my desktop pc. but if i watch it over my android phone, the video is not sync. audio and video have a delay of almost 1 second. do you maybe have some experience with that? do you know what i could do? thx for a feedback.
We should use square pixels 1.0 in every video ?
hi bro,In task manager gra[hs,i am not able to see video encode and decode graph not working and only 3d graph moving...Is it effects my export time,if yes than could you please help me out to figure it out
After changing in to match source and lock it again when i press check it automatically change to the previous one like unchanged 😢😢😢
I am editing video for my gaming clips. DO you think its better to use 60frame rate for it or should I stick to 23.967?
60fps is king.
Hello Tyler, I have one doubt. I have 4K video can i set sequence in 1080 to edit and preview after that is possible to render in 4k, If can it still preserve the 4K quality.
I would make sure you have default media scaling turned on to “set to frame size” in Premiere Pro “preferences” then go to your sequence settings before exporting and change your aspect ratio to 3840x2160. Then just scrub through your video to make sure the scaling is correct on your clips and export the video in 4K. Have you tried editing using proxies?
@@OfficialTylerWhite I tried but it will not work for me.
looks goot after export but after i ulpoad it on IG it looks mushy and and blurry....and i have toggled on the 'upload high quality ' thing in IG... and i just dont know what else to do :(
Is there a reason I can't click the checkbox after setting my frame size?
I’d like to see your export settings for a Timelapse to be used for reels
Noted!
@@OfficialTylerWhite yeah man .. when I air drop my time lapses to my phone they look amazing… But on reels they don’t look good vS standard video clips … I’ve tried many export settings with bad results… I figure you could crack the export code ..
