God I love how at first you can't quite tell who the song is about because of how often we see the tragedy that is broken/lost friendships in the dsmp. But as you listen it becomes more clear and even more heartbreaking BECAUSE of who it is about. Every duo and trio and group had their tragedies and their own losses but the grief that comes with Tommy and Tubbo is that they didn't just lose each other (their rocks, their support, their worlds), they lost the innocence that the era of their friendship once had. It's not just a loss of a friend but a loss of self for each of them.
The song really hits different now. It's such a beautiful piece and I can't help but hope he's having fun on the other side of the moon. Rest in Peace Technoblade 💜

This song was honestly very incredible. I don’t mean this to be sad but I had a friend named Cailyn who played sports with me and we listened to music together. We had a spectacular friendship. Until two years ago when she got in a horrible car crash and passed away. I’m currently writing a song for her in her honor two years later. This song for some reason brought her up and I’m not sure why. But yeah again apologizes of making this sad, I just really miss her. But I’ll see her again someday :)

This song is gorgeous! I love how the lyrics are more vague than they were the first time you showed this song on the livestream back in December, in a way that it still fits the SMP but also could fit the loss of a real loved one, whether through death or other means. That's something I think you always do really well in your songs. You're also really really good at showing emotion with your voice. You write your songs about heavy topics, and instead of singing for the sake of singing, you are able to give another level of depth to them. It makes the feelings behind the lyrics more real, as if they matter instead of feeling shallow. I don't know if I'm explaining that very well at all but my point is that you're very good =D Also you win the award for the first song I've ever legitimately cried to, congratulations :,)

Out of the list of things I love about Halfy & Winks' music is the storytelling. Not only is it heart breaking piece of lore in the Dream SMP to portray (which you guys did incredibly)! But I can tell a bunch of people can connect with the message on a personal level, whether they know of Dream SMP or not.

I remember crying a very sad TPK at this song. The whole party ended up trapped in a pocket dimension, with the eternity in front of them, but absolutely no chances of ever escaping or seeing their loved ones again.

It might be based off of the Dream Smp (which I do love) but all the hidden meaning entwined in this song are pure writing genius. I had just lost my grandmother the day I found this song and it destroyed me to hear this song because it encompassed everything I felt both in a good way and a bad way.
