Hi Mark...safe travels to Bermuda. Weve beem through mamy hurricanes of varying strengths over the last almost 40 years. We have a very strong infrastructure and we are resilient people!
Gonzalo was also a category 3 hurricane with a direct hit in Bermuda in 2014. With Ernesto expected to be the same status or if not even stronger as I personally think it's possible, more significant damage can occur.
I highly advise you now not to go to Bermuda for field mission because you can get stuck there for a while after the hurricane passes since the airport may be closed.
@@tauceti8060 True, but the ocean may still be rough well after the storm there meaning they’d be stuck for at least a few days in Bermuda if the ferries aren’t running due to that.
@@MrScottalus You’re right about that given how far Bermuda is from North Carolina. But, it isn’t me with the idea of ferries. Tell Taucet what you were just telling me about that a ferry can’t go from NC in the United States.

Tee shirt incoming!

Stay safe, Mark. Looking forward to your live on-the-ground coverage
Thank you for the details on this potentially dangerous Ernesto. Looking forward to more in the next few days. Stay safe!
Glad you're going to Bermuda.
Dont forget to try a fish sandwich there....before the storm. Looking forward to your reports, Mark and company!
I know what the stats say but that was the gnarliest "tropical storm" I've been through. It was not shaped normal and it rocked us like a cat 2.
Great Video

Watching from BARBADOS
Greetings from Puerto Rico Juana Diaz 🇵🇷
Also take something to measure ocean water temperature with in Bermuda so we can see what we measure is the same as what we see on the internet.
Is this going hit Florida

UK Met is predicting the system will continue all the way as far north as Irleand and Britain. It will still be storm force+ when it arrives.
What is that behind its look low
Fish are in real danger! Watch out guppies……..😂

Maybe boats/ferries will still run

You can’t get a ferry to Bermuda…

We are not an undeveloped country. You do know that right?

That ridge had to be in the way!!
The storm could become a category 4. That would not shock me.
Why is it not coming here to usa
Frontal boundary and a high pressure blocking it
Big waves huh. How can I avoid that? Oh yeah stay out of the water.MDR looks completely devoid of a cloud.
