We've seen too many clubs with troubled head offices and coaches in the NWSL but in the long run, clubs have progressed and are becoming more competitive and better managed. One can hope that this will be resolved soon. I wouldn't be surprised if the front office will have some changes and perhaps even new ownership.
if San Diego is wise, they'll pursue Adrian Gonzalez after he finishes the season with the Spirit-- he's excellent with the mental side of the game, and deserves a head coach position.
Yeah, this job coaching the Waves is the monumental task for anyone, certainly for a guy like Donovan , isn’t it??? ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE in this USA don’t you remember? He may not have had any experience on coaching the women soccer but he surely got so much experience after all those years on the pitch and being coached by someone who was his manager. No doubt, he knows soccer and tremendous experience about the game. He’ll hire the people, staff and assistants who will help him taken care of the team. Yeah, there’ll be many challenges, obstacles, and difficulties on his way, but I think he can do it. Success is anyone hope he’ll make it. Give the guy a chance , an opportunity to do the job. I don't know...scratching mu head...but 1-I know him from his playing times as a player (he was good), but is he a coach, what is his resume on the regard? 2-is he the right person for this job? 3-Has he been coaching...? 4-Maradona was a great player but was not successful as a coach. ...I don't know much about him after his days as a player...I guess will see. Now can we hire Alexis Lalas?!
