Game demos always used to be a big thing with games back in the day but for whatever reason they stopped. It's very very rare nowadays to have something like this come out and honestly GT has done it just right. Let me know what you think of it
I know people who play those really basic mobile phone racing games. They don't know what they're missing out on so if they get their hands on something like this, maybe they'll figure out what a good thing is.
Wdym demos used to be a big thing, game demos are still very common today and they still do a good job in showcasing the game. I mean I guess devs don’t push out demo years after release, but most games try to push demos out months before full release to showcase their game and prove it’s not a scam.
Game demos are not common. They’re making a return now but after the end of the physical disc era game demos almost died out. They’re just didn’t happens that often anymore. Now a few digital games are going back to demos. (I’m not counting free trials and betas) that’s not the same thing.
@@DUBSmb I’m a PC only player so can’t say for console, but from my experience with steam most game still have demos, like even before TDUSC came out they had a demo version available to everyone for a weekend, I suppose it is different from a traditional demo that can be accessed whenever
this is not a demo of gt7.... its an anniversary re-release of the original GT game on the first playstation.... its basic but with better graphics..... i get the idea from your video that you never played every gt game from the start in the 90's
Just because they used the same layout as the original doesn't mean it's not the demo. It is a demo and here are the actual words from PD "The Gran Turismo series first hit the scene in 1997, proudly earning the label "The Real Driving Simulator." Since then, it has captured the hearts of driving enthusiasts and gamers around the globe. My First Gran Turismo is intended for those who have yet to experience Gran Turismo. Welcome to the world of Gran Turismo!"
Are you trolling? It is objectively not a re-release. It has just a bit over 1/10th of the number of cars of the original, and less than a third of the tracks. A bunch of the cars are model years way after the original was released. One of the only 3 tracks in this was first released in GT Sport.
I agree with you @mcf3778. The last sentence being “My first Gran Turismo is intended for those who have yet to experience Gran Turismo” sure makes it sound like this is for people who never experienced the original Gran Turismo. 😂

It's mostly indies releasing demos these days, it's pretty rare for a triple A game to have one, at least on PC.

@@ShadowedCrossThat’s a valid point, but I just want to add to that and say demos are pretty common among double A games as well
but this isnt a demo....its a nostalgic re-release of the 90's game where it all started
So it's basically like a demo?
I forgot you had a PS5 😅 Awesome vid love it I 100% the demo really fun
from watching this video i would guess he never had a Playstation and grand tourismo in the 90's because he thinks this is a gt7 demo
