One of the most remarkable videos and narratives I have ever seen. What an incredibly amazing and historic place. My first cousin from Boston, Massachusetts rode up this route 25 or so years ago. I doubt I'll ever have the chance to do so, but your video allows me to travel there vicariously. What a shame they have not been able to complete the railway. Doing so, and making it electrified, would allow them to put many of those trucks on the trains and more efficiently and productively get them over the pass.
Very very amazing and beautiful Pakistan, you did a fantastic great exploration of Khyber ghat roads. It was tempting to visit, and to make international tourists attractions by the investors, but it may not possible because of militants and unrest.
How can you show the information centre there if, a certain time ago, Hinduism and Buddhism were there and the Pakistani government didn't want to tell their civilians?
Superb commentary. Really informative. The beneficiary countries should recognize its historical importance and build monuments and maintain them. These mountains still echo the footsteps of soldiers.
Long long ago this place was hindu land and there was a temple of goddess Bhawani Devi and people were worshipping Bhawani who protects from evil Latter in 14th to 19 th century enosent people's were forcefully (other wise rapes and murders) converted to islam
The only thing I would love to have is an option to translate into English. The narrator is amazing! I would love to drive on this road. It has had historical significance since Alexander the Great.
Sadly, their government is worried about themselves. They got nothing to do with the development in Pakistan. That is why we are behind in every field.
I thought that it would be a religous rant by a Pakistani but it's was a very good and mostly correct analysis I as an history lover knows very very much that this pass is like a small window to a fortress that is indian subcontinet ( surrounded on all sides by mountains and the sea like Himalayas arkan range Suleman hindukush etc ) Basically to defend indian subcontinet as a whole one needs to only control this pass as it is only pass that large army can march through ( although Nader shah marched around it with a small force and tricked the Mughals who were gaurding it by striking them from behind ) It is truly historical from achemineds to mauryans to British
Great video and excellent commentary. Thanks for sharing. As a Hindu Punjabi of Indian origin and ardent enthusiast of Indian history, it's fascinating to learn about this passageway that has so much historical significance for the subcontinent as the marauders and plunderers came through it. The government should organize a tour for tourists on the Khyber Pass; it would be amazing...Just an idea: if possible, perhaps one day you can make the same video but travel from the Afghan border to Landi Kotal (so basically, the other way around on the Khyber Pass). This would give some idea of how it all looked to the people who came during the invasions, etc.

Shame There is no Historical Signboards of this historical Road. I live in London, England an overseas Pakistani.
Sadly, their government is worried about themselves. They got nothing to do with the development in Pakistan. That is why we are behind in every field.
Please add Subtitle in English so that people can read your channel all over the World. Thank you. I live in London, England an overseas Pakistani.
Thanks Mohammad Naz, I will add subtitle as well. Great MashaAllah
why the boring music??
Imagine the days before they had paved the main roads, what a real adventure that must have been 😲😲
