    The majority of Black Americans are never in contact with Africans from the continent in their daily lives let alone Ghanaians.

    What american blacks would also like Africans to realize is that our struggle was as a Minority and we had to struggle to get what we have too. It was not a gift nor favoritism to us either. So if we are hospitable to each other then it is a win win. We have been trained from childhood to donate/give to africa. If you are hospitable, I will empty my pockets. But Im a man/ Patriarchal. I understand the cheap beauty hair stylist. We are well versed in tipping. Show some love.
    We will overcome. We are well versed in tourism effects. Don't buy Anglo propaganda and divisive techniques.

    Jay, what is your position on African Americans coming to Africa celebrating days like July 4th and Thanksgiving

    • @jaycameronofficial
      @jaycameronofficial หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ha! I definitely don’t celebrate July 4th. The US still isn’t independent and certainly black Americans aren’t. That’s one of those propaganda holidays to reinforce US nationalism. It’s just another backward thing they have brainwashed black Americans with.
      I don’t celebrate the American connotation of thanksgiving because I know the truth about what terror it caused for indigenous people in the land we know as America. I know we have morphed it into a day for families to get together and give thanks for whatever they want to give thanks for. I will attend family gatherings etc but that’s about it. Those holidays have no significance to me as I have learned more. I understand everyone might not be where I am and that’s fine. I’m always concerned when I see black Americans taking our warped and twisted aspects of our hybrid culture to other parts of the world.

    I grew up all my days with my friends talking smack and not one time did we ever say I hate the Nigerians or Ghanaians or anyone else in Africa. We got our own problems right here in this country the. To be worried or hating on anyone else. Stop pulling us into shhiiiit that has nothing to do with us cause I promise we are not thinking about no one but us right now cause we have too

      There is a lot of corruption in Ghana and Africa. But yes, we require all foreigners to pay. So that would include Americans, Chinese, Singaporeans etc.

    Again you people don't understand how currencies work. Ghanaians want to be compensated the same rates as countries with completely different economies then complain that prices have reason. That doesn't make any sense. If your work is worth 50 cedis as per local standards, why are you trying to guilt trip a foreigner due to your own greed to pay you 500 cedis? Now your new standard is 500 cedis, can your fellow countrymen afford your services at that price? Since you think it's normal, then no ghanaian should be mad when real estate developers are charging 1000000000 dollars for apartments and homes in ghana. Since you believe that you should be compensated the rate that someone who lives in a different economy with a different cost of living, then you should have no problem with anyone charging exceptional amounts of money, and you should have no problem going out of business when you remember you live in ghana where people do not make that kind of money. If you want to make american salaries, move to america, or work for an american firm that pays american salries in ghana. what kind of greed do you possess that you believe you should be overpaid because someone in AMERICA or the UK makes X amount of money??? There is no correlation, you're just greedy.

    Title: Unity Over Division: A Call for Collaboration Among Africans and the Diaspora
    It is time to address the divisive narratives circulating on podcasts and TH-cam that suggest hatred between Africans and African Americans. These claims are not only baseless but also harmful. The truth is that 99.99% of Africans have never met or interacted with African Americans, making such generalizations unwarranted and misleading.
    These sensational headlines, thumbnails, and posts must stop immediately. Instead of focusing on division, our shared goal should be reunification, pan-Africanism, and mutual empowerment. The return of African Americans and diasporans to the continent should center on building bridges through cultural diversity, educational opportunities, and economic collaboration.
    We have much to learn from communities such as the Indian, Lebanese, and Chinese populations in Ghana, who focus on trade and business development rather than divisive rhetoric. Let us prioritize progress, humanity, and solidarity over fearmongering and baseless accusations. Together, we can achieve a brighter future for the entire African community, both on the continent and in the diaspora.
