It Snowed quite a lot 10 days ago and since then every day looks like that till Thursday! February is always rewarding in Arlberg as far as I remember ! Hoping for some more snow now ! 🤞☺️

Hello there! Amazing footage and channel. I'm from the US and have skied the east coast (Vermont, Poconos, etc) along with Colorado & Utah. I am coming to the Alps for the first time in 4 weeks. I have never been. I'm trying to decide between Zermatt and Arlberg region. Can you comment on the differences? Pros vs Cons? Many thanks and keep putting out great content!

I’ll try to put it simple and I hope that helps you because both are great ski resorts and for sure any you choose for the first time in alps you will have an amazing experience! Arlberg is huge area lots of off-piste to explore decent pistes and legendary st Anton with its apres more value for money for sure . but Zermatt is unique. Nothing like it. Same maybe better skiing experience but It's expensive as sh*t and what you pay for is the hole vibe and scenery, for sure you will never forget your time there !
Been skiing every season in Lech/Zurs since 2013, having skied a few seasons before that in Zermatt, I prefer Lech/Zurs as it is more laid back, and with so many options to ski between Lech and St. Anton, one can never be bored. Having said that, Zermatt is certainly worth a try, at least once!
@@ac808 thank you for your opinion, definitely lots of options in Arlberg area from st Anton all the way to Warth ! And exactly my point that Zermatt is one in a lifetime experience but Arlberg maybe is the one that you will keep coming back !
Thanks for the input! I’m wondering if it makes sense to try the Arlberg this year given the better snow record relative to zermatt which appears to be getting just sunny days all season haha. Not a fan of pure icy slopes.
@@far9018 Predicting snow is always a gamble these days, for example when I arrived in early Jan, it had not snowed for 4 weeks, yet there was a huge dump in my last 3 days in Lech/Zurs and the snow was amazing!

Nah not really , maybe at the end of the day after a couple of beers 😅
