Thanks Bob. Yes I’d prefer to play the 4, seeing KJ in dummy - although the Q is a loser anyway on this layout, so I don’t think it makes a difference to the end score.
I don't see why east would lead the queen of clubs. You'll not have time to ruff clubs and you are just sparing declarer a guess. Safest exit is probably a (high) trump hoping partner has a spade honour.
