Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm thrilled to hear that you find the videos helpful. Your support means a lot to me. Keep watching and practicing, you're doing great! 🚗😊
When you brought up the step to put the car in neutral and let it roll back is a surprise to me because in a lot of videos I see. That step is never mentioned.
i’ve been doing driving school and today was my 2nd day my uphill and downhill parking is so bad i’ll update you tomorrow if it changes because of this video.
Hang in there! Learning uphill and downhill parking can be tricky, but with practice and patience, you'll get the hang of it. Keep applying the techniques you've learned in driving school, and don't hesitate to watch the video again for extra tips. You're already on the right track by seeking out resources to improve. Keep at it, and I'm rooting for you! 🚗💪😊
@sherrygatuslao5772 the test was not hard it just seems long 45 minutes here in Calgary. If you're in Calgary this is My advice based on my experience. Make sure you pay attention to road signs like speed limits especially in residential area. Don't go to fast or too slow, you'll get points added. In the playground zone, don't go pass the speed limit of 30, not even by 1, check your speedometer to make sure you're not speeding or under speeding in any road points will be added. Slow down when you approach speed bumps. Practice parallel parking and when you use the right side mirror to assist you with parallel parking, make sure you adjust the mirror back the right way and before leaving the lane make sure you sign signal, mirror and shoulder check. Practice curb parking get close enough but not too close that you end up hitting the curb. When you're turning right in residential area, if there is no car parked on the lane near the curb, you must turn to that lane first and change lane to the left. But if there is a car park near the curb, you can make a wide turn. In real life in residential area, the right lane is considered "parking lane" because people park their cars on the right lane. Practice your front in parking in a parking lot because youll need to park when returning to the test centre, parallel and curb parking and know how to fix it when you can't get it right in a few steps. If you can't fix, you'll fail. When approaching intersections, be it in residential area or main roads, you must check traffic by actually turning your head to the left and to the right and not just moving your eyes. When approaching a yellow light or amber light you need to stop and not continue driving.Know where to stop at the STOP sign, behind a line, a curb or before a crosswalk. At the STOP sign, you need to make a full stop for 3 seconds before proceeding and not do a rolling stop. When changing lanes and turning left or right, you must use SMOG. S-signal M-mirror O-over shoulder G-go. Know how to park uphill and downhill and which way to turn the wheel and how to touch the curb with the wheel when in Neutral gear on uphill & downhill before putting parking brakes etc. In highway, know how to merge properly with the traffic and proper change lane SMOG is very important. Slow down in uncontrolled intersections in residential area and yield to the right of way. When backing up from a parking spot, you really need to move your body to check and all around especially the back when reversing for cars and pedestrians. Know the rules in Roundabout, how to enter and exit and signaling. When driving down hill youll go faster because of gravity so make sure you cover the brake and check that you're not going over the speed limit. Only do what the examiner tells you to do. Try to relax and calm your nerves during the test. If your nerves gets a hold of you, you'll end up making alot of mistakes. Your allowed 75 points for mistake but there is mistakes that will cause an auto fail.
thank you so much for putting an effort for all the advices to me, I will put it to my mind all of you advices, It will big help for me especialy Im planning to take a road test atbthe end of the month
@sherrygatuslao5772 get lots of practice driving on the road especially in residential areas and familiarize yourself with traffic signs there, youll be spending more time driving in those area than in highway. Drive in playground zones, uncontrolled intersections. Perfect parking and how to fix. Very important SMOG. Good luck on your test.
@sherrygatuslao5772 before driving, you'll also get tested for what they call "pre driving test". Examiner will ask to spray and turn on the windshield wiper, turn signal to the left and right, press the horn, push the brake, emergency signal, if raining turn on anti fog.
Huge congratulations on passing your G2 on the first try! 🎉 So glad the video helped with the hill parking-sounds like you were well-prepared! Thanks for sharing, and happy driving! 🚗❤😊
Hey, It's completely normal to feel nervous before your test. Just trust in your practice and the tips you've learned. If you make a mistake, don't dwell on it-just keep going. Remember to stay calm and take deep breaths. You've got this! Good luck! 🚗✨
I actually have to park in an uphill position in reverse and its really hard the car keeps rolling forward. Some said that pull the handbrake then bring clutch till biting point, press the gas pedal a lil bit and release the handbrake. I wanna know is this the correct method
