No heated windshield on these which isn't as bad as you might think, the reason? Windshields that have additional features like heads up display or lane departure features, heating elements, etc, can be FAR more expensive to replace than standard glass. What sounds great on the showroom floor often sounds a whole lot less great in the service drive.
I actually went in the dealership to get the Q50. I test drove this as well, traded in my car for both..lol Pros: Look: Black on Black looks so elegant. Room: It fits my family of 6. Its 3 rows of seating which all seats recline and easy access to 3rd row. 1st 3rd row that can actually fit an adult. (when the 2nd row is moved up.) Smooth ride and great family vehicle. Cons: Acceleration: Leave it on Sports mode. Standard and Eco mode needs more pickup. Entertainment Center: The interior radio and navigation looks outdated compared to the q50. I know its a car but its Infiniti's new line and they should of invested more or at least give the same package as the q50 to all models. Overall: Instead of getting a huge SUV or spending thousands more for a MDX, Q7 or GL. While these are better SUVs but for a fully loaded SUV under 50 grand, the price its worth every penny.
I'm with you on the CVT, Infiniti has always stayed away from them. Even with this one, Infiniti has tuned it to give you the impression it's actually shifting, even though it never does. The big benefit is fuel economy and on this particular vehicle, the company heads decided maximum economy trumped maximum performance.
You do need to factor in Canadian GST but it ultimately is still less expensive to buy in the States. Also consider pre-owned, the savings there can be even more dramatic.
the QX60 drives beautifully but the QX80 is just so impressive, both are great choices but the QX80 is expensive for a reason...it might be the single nicest SUV on the market
You forgot to mention one change from 2013 to 2014: The third row seats now have a power button to bring that back up into position. Just one push of the button brings them up. On the 2013, this button does not exist and you manually raise the third row seats. Other than that, it's the identical car.
Update: May not longer reconsider, since Nissan/Infiniti recalled over 1 million vehicles including this marvelous JX35 for an airbag issue. You being an Infiniti salesman, I take it you've heard of this recall. No Matter, I will still watch and comment your vids as they appear in my timeline, as far as what Luxury I would buy in the long run: Lexus it is LOL
Very nice car... The owner who ran Audi took over Infiniti? Well, if you look at the Audi Q7, the grille is smoking as well as the headlights. Why not put some nice LED lights on this? I love this car but I am debating between this and the Acura MDX and the Audi Q7.

We actually sell more Infinitis to Canada than any dealer in the region. In fact, we are doing a deal right now to Calgary.
I appreciate you taking a look!

I simply love this SUV so comfortable easy to handle
How do I reverse a preset address chime in my 2014 Q60?
Very well presented. Infiniti should hire you to showcase their next new product.
+Why All The Fuss I appreciate that very much. That's a great SUV, you owe it to yourself to take one out on a nice drive.
Tks so much for your fast reply the Qx80 is very impressive the interior is amazing

5 years later lol. The transmission is the biggest change. Now it's the same as the pathfinder which ups towing to 5k from 3500lbs...
This is an awesome car! This would probably be the only Infiniti I would consider.

Hi I am really like this car,but I want to know that does this car have heated front window or heated front wipers.
Cause I really hate a lot of snow and ice on the wipers in winter
Is that guy the reason why there is no longer a QX56?
Compre 2017 AWD excelente
Which one would you say is better Qx60 or Qx80? I'm having a really hard time deciding between the two.
Very good review and very nice vehicle. Will buy my wife this vehicle today over the Acura MDX and the BMW X5. Simply more functional and plush.

My wife wants me to trade in my Taurus SHO for one of these. That CVT transmission is holding me back though :( By the way excellent review !
