We have a Renault Austral 2024 iconic full option for 4 months. On the whole, we are very satisfied with this car, although there is one major and important point that requires some explanation. All our lives we have driven top of the range cars from Volkswagen, Audi, Mercedes and BMW which were always full option and for which we have never had any comments on use. The cars were used by both the husband and wife, and with electrically adjustable seats and mirrors, mixed use was always easy and possible without additional adjustments through the use of the remote controls adjusting the seats and mirrors automatically. We took a Renault Austral for our old age, as the combination of self-charging and petrol seemed the best solution at the time of purchase. So, taking a full option in the iconic equipment, we never envisaged that one very important option would not be present here. This is the adjustment of the seats and mirrors for mixed male/female use. Why would we want electric seats and mirrors if they can't be automatically adjusted to suit whether the man or the woman is using the car? Profiles allow these settings to be made, but this means that when entering the car with female settings, the man can barely get into the car, he has to turn everything on, then go to the settings screen, then to the profiles, then click on the right profile, and all in a cramped position because the remote control can't transfer the code to a profile. How clumsy not to allow this. In the software, there is then an option to connect a telephone to open the car and transfer a profile wich seems a good alternative, but this doesn't work in Belgium either. How is it possible that, with so much on-board technology, this option is not activated and we're going back to the Stone Age? Who can guarantee that this will be corrected in the future. After all, it's just a matter of linking the unique code on the remote control to the internal profiles. It's just a software gimmick to be activated. If Renault were to do this, they really can establish themselves as a fully-fledged competitor in the premium range, can they.... ?
If it's the same engine as in my wife's C1 then it's pretty reliable but it does use oil, i don't know where it goes as there's no smoke but we must put 5ltr of oil in it every year\10,000 mls.
amazing ASMR !! 😂 . Serious very good presentation ... I'm french. 😉
What a beautiful comment, really appreciate it! Thank you, or otherwise... MERCI!!! 🫡

What smartwatch do you have?
Renault seem not to care much about rear seat passengers, they just put the basics in the back.
