This was back when Peter Kay actually did talk shows properly. Now when he is on Jonathan Ross or Alan Carr shows he just acts the utter prick and doesn't sit down and talk with the host, like he did here with Michael. I wonder what changed?

I have a sense that his ego inflated when he became more famous, especially around the late 2000s. Fame does that to people, and the attitude certainly changed. Just look at this interview and compare it to one ten years later. He comes across as a man who thinks he is in charge of the other persons show.
