Man I judged too quickly about Abu Imam Hanifa. This video proved me wrong.
One thing I have definitely learnt is not to jump into a conclusion that quickly. Muhammad (SAW) warned us about suspicion. Abu Hanifa has earned my respect.

I was searching the answer of this question (is it important to follow any imam? why one should follow Imam?) from a long period of time. And finally you were the second one to answer clearly. But i still call myself a Muslim only. InshAllah in future i will study and investigate the things and won't accept or reject anything without investigating it. and yes i am a Muslim who follows Allah and Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H). Yes, we can take help from the knowledge of Imams (investigating after studying all of theirs views about the particular topic) but it never means to be called by their name. as being called Muslim is enough and is pride.

A slight rectification or clarification if you do not mind; his sheikh was Hamad ibn abi Sulaiman not ibn sulaiman. The very reason why he went to sit and learn from Hamad was because he was asked about sunna divorce and because he did not know he sent the questioner to Hamad, when Hamad answered then he decided to become his student.

Ja'afar Sadiq was never a shia. He was ahul sunna.
Harun Ar-Rashid the khalifa at the time of jafaar as sadiq disagreed woth the words uttered hu him at the grave of RasulAllah s.a.w in the masjid. He called upon RasulAllaah s.a.w as fo of waseela whilst harun Ar-Rashid was sending salawat upon the prophet s.a.w. At this moment he realised jafaar as-sadiq was calming statements opposite to the tawheed of Allaah Swt. The traits of the shia. And now he is known of one of the twelvers who bring about blessings and baraqah and sustinence to the shia people whilst being in his grave ?
Today's versions of identifiers like "Shia" and "Sunni" were not exactly in common parlance or use during those times.

There are many books of Imam Abu Hanifa R.H.
Out of which Al Fiqh Al Akbar is the most Famous .
The fiqh of Imam Abu Hanifa comes majorly from his two most famous students who are called as ' Sahebain ' .
The first is Imam Abu Yusuf R.H.
The second is Imam Ibn Hasan Al Shybani R.H.
Both are the giants of Islamic History .

But there were Afghans and the name of Afghanistan in that time was Khorasan. Imaam Abu Hanifa's father (or grandfather, one of the two) (R.A) was a trader from Kabul that came later to Baghdad, (todays Iraq) Ummayad Caliphate. There was he born, Abu Hanifa R.A.

TheTruth İmam Ja'far was only his teacher for a short period, his real teachers were people like Alkamah. And think of it like this, İf his teacher was İmam Ja'far, why doesn't he handle at his issues like you, because you claim to handle like imam Ja'far, don't you? :))
İmam Abu hanifa had many teacher from sahaba and tabieen. his main teacher was imam hammad bin suleiman. Abu hanifa took the school from him. imam ja'far al sadiq was one of the his teachers. abu hanifa was also a persian. another thing abu hanifa was praised by Prohet saw. so why dont you people follow al İmam al azam abu hanifa ? he carried real teaching of imam ja'far al sadiq.

Imam's origin is not Persian. His father was from Kabul, Afghanistan (Thabet kabuli ثابت کابلی)
Kabul was never a part of Persia.
Saif Fazel Persian doesn't only mean Iranian people Persian people are from Afghanistan and Tajikistan aswell, Kabul was part of khurasan which the westerners say Persia
The Persia means (Fars) which is an Iranian province.
The Persian Empire refers to Achaemenid-Sassani (330-651) which Kabul was not a part of it.
The Khurassan term implies to mainly Afghanistan (750-1800)
So, Kabul as a part of Khurassan was never a part of Persia.

Muhammad Ali no because persia was Persia back then, and Afghanistan being in Central Asia was never Persian, the first name of the country was Aryana this is where he Aryan civilisation were the first of the country and they made the language we know today as Farsi, then it was called khurasan, then Afghanistan, and just a note back then the language wasn’t called Farsi, the first name was Avestan, then Pahlavi then dari or Farsi, so yes persian and Afghan are different from their roots

i am wondering that you are shedding light on the lives of these 4 Imams.very honestly if you are fair, have you ever wondered to think that all these imams were the pupils of Imam Jafer e sadiq a.s. if you are honest and looking for real turth why dont you read about the ustaaz and teacher of hazrat imam Jafer sadiq., who was never beaten in any question and was never a ppupil of any person on this face of earth. he was who tought fiqah and all other good knowledge to hazrat abu hanifa anf all rest of them. famous ibn sina or jabar bin hayan was his pupils who invented the salt acid.Haroon Rasheed staged a competition between these two . imam Jafer e sadiq answered all qestions fired by the opposite , but haz, abu hanifa couldnt reply a single one!!!. when one goes to find someone in the market, looks for the best and latest one, this Imam , Jafer a s . was Best and latest . PLEASE do read about the life of best, and teacher of all 4 imams then you will know why hz. abu hanifa remained a pupil of him nearly 2 years. Hz abu hanifa said himself that if if hadent learned these 2 years i was nothing. kindly read the MUBAHISAAS organised by haroon rasheed. there was a christian priest who brought a set of questions before muslims in harron rasheeds court challenging muslims. no one could answer him for about two weeks as Haroon rasheed didnt want Imaams Jaafers help. so king waited for his court imam to answer these questions but failed. eventually he has to break his EGO and called for help from the imam. Imam Jafer answered him and he was fully contented.

And in our time, great people like imam Abu Hanifa are claimed by many nations that everyone wants to see great people as part of their histories and one of them by race out of tribalism and nationalism.
