"So sing your praise of progress and of the Doom Machine, the naked truth is still taboo whenever it can be seen." One of Dylan's greatest songs, superb performance.
Bob Dylan hat sein Klagelied nie live gespielt. Umso schöner, dass Sophie Hunger und Erik Truffaz diesen großartigen Song hier endlich unter die Leute bringen, er hat es verdient.
@@FlaschDJ That abomination of Jokerman ??!-- You're havin a larf ain't ya lad?--sounds like a cartoon version or comedic piss take --it's awful--I'll give ya Hendrix though.
The problem with singing the Dylan song is you can't imitate when he decides to give up singing and speak in his voice. For instance, Adele never tries to copy the parts in make you feel my love where Dylan just adds accents or sings in a speaking voice. Because it immediately comes off as oh she's imitating the song. But otherwise, it's a great version except for the up-tempo parts which I am unsure about.
Very brave to even contemplate recording one of Zimmermans crown jewels ,a creditable effort non the less though many purists will doubtless disagree and I acknowledge their disapproval in advance.

MAGNIFIQUE
Avec les tripes !
Wow! Amazing version.
...very very few do justice to any of his songs,....this is no exception.
Listen to Jokerman by Caetano Veloso. THAT is an exception. Another is Hendrix’ rendition of All Along the Watchtower.

How can anyone dare to even consider covering this song?
Over Dylan.

I listen to that crap about 10 seconds, and had to turn it off. What a disaster!
can't touch dylan's voice in its prime...speeded up sucked
I understand the feelings and the therapeutic value, but commercializing it is regrettable. A public stoning of his children's mother.
It's not about sara
How would one, even Bob, know who Dirge is about? Probably not just one human being. My 2 cents.
@@bobshiel4685You are ABSOLUTELY CORRECT. Thank you.
She's really spoiled the song with her rendition.
