He was considered to be most cunning politician in AP political circles as well as India as a whole. The most common thing to YSR, Mamta, Sharat pawar,...........is all were victims of PVR.
Subsequent to thrown out embarrassingly from CM post of AP in 1973, and due to severe opposition in own party left AP in 1984 choosen Ramtek constituency in Maharastra. Even after moving out from PM post, he has chosen Berhampur but not any constituency in AP. The number of visits made by him 1973 to AP can be counted with fingers , so imagine what was his image.
On the national front he was blamed for demolition of structure in Auodhya and never got any value from the congress after moved out from the PM post. Even most of the congress leaders were absent for his final rituals.
Not but not least he was the one who has passed wakfs board act in 1995 and ramifications of this act every one knows.
