actually there are rules to heavy metal or just about any genre of music when it comes to vocals, visual kei has it's own set of rules of how they sing although their instrumentals might be different from 2-string guitar riffs, pop rock guitar, etc. theere are many forms of power metal out there from symphonic power metal to melodic power metal, but what i am saying is visual kei has their own set of rules like how pop uses autotune nowadays and repeat 5 lyrics over and over.

@seiyanara galneryus is a kind of visual kei, or mayb was. Versailles were touring europe, and they're dudes that wear dresses, nevertheless they have AMAZING songs and the guitarists are freaking awesome. so don't judge a band by their look, and yeah, galneryus should really tour europe :)
