Good video. I've set up my self-directed DRIP to feature only renewables, and my choices are RNW, AQN, and INE. I'll be adding BEPC once the DRIP can buy whole shares of it, by itself. In my main, I've got FTS, BLX, and NPI. My issue is that my broker only allows a maximum of 5 DRIP positions, so I'm periodically journaling from DRIP to main.
Thx for the vid. I hold AQN and NPI in my portfolio and have RNW on my watchlist. I’m planning on adding a boatload more to my AQN as I’m bullish on that company and it’s only 2.2% of my portfolio so far. The P/E ratio of NPI and RNW is a bit high for my liking right now in terms of either adding to my position or starting one. I did add to my NPI recently however after the recent earnings report and cost avg down.
Very good videos, very good information, you could make a talking video of Crypto ETF'S and if it is also feasible to invest in companies like Bombardier
PWI - Sustainable Power and Infrastructure Split Corp. Is a recently new fund from Brompton - 8% yield and a great way to get exposure to multiple companies in the growing sector.
I personally don't really care about sustainability or renewability when it comes to investing; what matters most to me is that a stock performs well and has a good ROI. (But look at how many giants like Exon or Vale has dozens of green and human rights abuses and just shrugs it off and keeps going) That said, I understand it's an important factor, because if the greater market demands it, it can affect prices across the board.
It is renewable because when we burn it we create global warming and that will wipe out most of the life on the planet today and in a few million years voila, brand new oil deposits from all those ancient organisms.

Sounds like a solid plan!
looks like the AQN pick was disastrous

Thanks for sharing your plan! sounds like a good one.
Ouch, sorry about your losses. PE of 235 is insane

Thanks Chris!
Good info for all investors. Thanks.
No problem!
My best : AQN, BEPC
Good picks!
Thoughts on Greenlane Renewables???
Risky, but with good potential! Invest cautiously and make sure you can handle the swings
@@WealthAwesome Thanks for your response 😊

Good point Kyle, I do think it will eventually catch up in the future!
@@WealthAwesome I probably have a flawed perspective - I'm looking at where green tech is NOW, rather than 5-10 years down the line
wind energy can be very harmfull
Thanks Vince! There are downsides to everything I suppose.
PWI
Thanks Chris!
@@WealthAwesome no problem - I recently added this position to my dividend income portfolio
oil is renewable, so is natural gas
thanks Vince, but how is oil renewable?
It is renewable because when we burn it we create global warming and that will wipe out most of the life on the planet today and in a few million years voila, brand new oil deposits from all those ancient organisms.
