This all about my Hostel and hostel room. I am going to my room after 1.5 years that we know very well because of covid we didn't able to stay there. So for the last time I'm sharing my memories and how is our hostel rooms in actually we can see it from this video.
Because of lockdown lift is not working and room's are not clean, on last I shared some pictures when we used to stay on normal days.

Yes... You can..

Bed cushion is provided in hostel or I have to buy it ??
Only bed will be provided. Other things you have to buy that.
In the prospectus it's mentioned that "we must report to our respective departments for hostel admission " is it really necessary? Iam really confused, kindly help
Sorry.. I don't have any idea about it. If it is mentioned there then you have to report for that. But all the process is starting from the time of form fillup, where you have to choose the option of hostel while applying for that. So while applying for that just be careful and read everything carefully.
Is the university open for offline classes?

Foods are same in every hostel.
Aurobindo is new hostel for boys

Nothing like that . Jadi tame select hoichha aau hostel option choose karithila admission purbaru.. so tamaku admission pare hostel admission karibaku padiba sethi jaiki.. so kichhi problem habani hostel milijiba

2. how fast they allot hostel to students??
3. I am going to take admission in M.tech computational biology, and I live in Uttar Pradesh so when I go there for admission will they allot me hostel on same day??
No.. it will be only sharing room.. of 3 or 4 members.
After admission within one day you have to pay for hostel and everything then within some hour you will get your room.
NOTE: these things are for those students who select the option of hostel accommodation while applying for PG. ( Before exam, while you apply for it you have to select this option)

Hey...
For the accomodation there is University guest house available always. After reaching there you can go and stay there with your own I'd proofs and what are the propose you are there have to show them everything. But the thing if someone is a student of PU then he can easily reserved a room there , because they need confirmation from the HOD and the sign and seal needed of hod on particular form.
There is a another option for you .. you can stay in white town and you can travel by local bus everyday. You can find good room in 200 rupees per day. Those rooms are of Aurobindo ashram..

Central Government is giving scholarship for different categories students. As in university only merit list students(top10) can get scholarship from University

As of my knowledge this college is under the Pondicherry University and till now there no information of opening of 1st year student offline class. For confirmation check your college website.

For hostel per year 800/900 and for food every semester you have to pay around 7k to 8k

And what about scholarship for other states students
Who ever will got select for the course and did the admission in university, they are eligible for hostel addmission.
For scholarship only top 10 students from each department will get University scholarship, or you can apply for Central Government scholarship by checking it from UGC website, also if your state government is providing scholarship for your higher studies then also you can apply for that. That what I did on my master and i got 60 to 80 thousand as my scholarship money.

There is no option like that .. you can't choose the hostel but if you will go and talk with the authority they can do something.

My God. The verendah is so dirty...can see the dust everywhere...
It was on lockdown time, that time no one was there that's why it was too dirty .. watch video till last you will get an actual picture of the hostel.
