Coming off the anime, you'd think the RuberRobo bosses might be Team Rocket-tier jokes. In-game, they will almost certainly destroy you if you're not careful. The music makes this perfectly clear.
yes i agree, i did not take the gba time, but i played this game because my big bro that was in gba time suggested me to play it, and it NEEDS TO BE RESSURECTED IN NINTENDO SWITCH :D
Medabots still lives to this day, although as a japan exclusive series... Very sad to see it didn't get enough love when it's games released in the west
Fun facts, it is actually called “Medarot” in Japan as it’s the short version for “Medal Robot”. And the Rubberrobo Gang is called the “Roborobo Gang” in the original.
For a clumsy and silly group of villains the rubberobo sure have a banger boss robattle theme Recently played the Rokusho version for the first time after playing Metabee first years ago, gotta admit i like this series a lot and is such a shame it remains as a jp exclusive after not receiving enough love in the west. With this being said, i must say seaslug is a nightmare for Rokusho, fortunately i had my support healer abomination to repair his destroyed medaparts and save him from the sacrifice attacks
Thats a funny coincidence as I have also recently replayed the Rokusho version via an android GBA emulator, so high five😊 It still holds up really well even after all these years and really was a time less classic. Replaying it as an adult though, did change my perception on the game's difficulty especially now that I have the patience to read the game text explaining what each of the different stat means, and equipping different parts for specific leg types, this game is pretty simple overall with one notable example being Crimson King's Insta-Destroy parts. They are so godly that I almost never took it off since acquiring them and they make the final bosses chumps.
WOW what a throwback! This is a different theme, but I could never beat the final boss Mega-Emperor, because I would barely beat the first of the THREE rounds you have to fight against it!!! Really good theme rendition though, great work! Brings back memories- this game was very hard for me XD
There's not a whole lot that's actually different about the second round; the most notable change is that the Mega-Emperors with the Kuwagata and Kabuto medals have swapped places. Hard-hitting Napalm/Missile weapons help a lot, and so does Missile or Break immunity (they tend to not use their lasers all that much because of how slow those are). The Mega-Emperors are also comically vulnerable to Anti-Shot traps, and if you have access to a quick Force Seal you can stop them getting their Medaforces off and essentially get at least one free turn. Confusion and counterattack stances also screw with them a lot, although you might need a bit of luck there. Above all else, though, if you feel you absolutely MUST use Metabee or Rokusho for them (which I wouldn't recommend doing, particularly with Rokusho because of how frail he is), do NOT use them as your leader because the Mega-Emperor with the opposing Medal WILL target them if they are present.
Medabots Metabee/Rokusho version, aka Medarot Core kabuto/Kuwagata version, a remake of Medarot 2 of the gameboy Edit: My bad, i didn't meant to write in another language lol
Broooo medabots is the bomb! I haven't played this specific game but medabots music always goes hard, so naturally this sounds great. If you ever feel like it, you should remaster something from Medabots AX because that game has a GREAT soundtrack for a gba game.

Rokusho players know true pain
yeah lol, rokusho players have to calculate the space-time between robots and make several strategies to win the oponents lol
Oh YES! this franchise needs to be resurrected, the childhood of many are in this
The franchise never die.
Dude I fcking agree lmao

I've never heard this song before, but I wil say I really like it.
It was a boss theme battle music for Medabots Metabee version GBA
You won't after your Metabee/Rokusho is missing 3 medaparts due to a sacrifice attack that ignored your tank
So good to listen to this again.
Incredible RPG. I wish they continued to remake and port these games.
Fun facts, it is actually called “Medarot” in Japan as it’s the short version for “Medal Robot”. And the Rubberrobo Gang is called the “Roborobo Gang” in the original.
With each medarot entry being divided in two versions, kabuto and kuwagata
Oh my god, holy cow! Someone remembers Metabots! Rad!

What the hell! I just started watching Medabots in my spare time and you suddenly do this!!
Joya B)
I still remember reaching the final boss fight in the Metabee version as a kid and the hopelessness from being unable to beat it...

I enjoyed MedaBots TV anime series. 🙂
Never heard of this game before and all I could see at first were some transformers
its a mecha yes but they're more like robots about the size of a 12-year-old kid, they ain't as big as the mechas in evangelion
Please create medabot ax gba ( polar region stage ) remastered sound 🙇🏻♂️🙇🏻♂️🙇🏻♂️🙇🏻♂️
Could you do the general battle theme?
