I’ve had quite a few cavities in my day but I’ve only been watching your videos for a few months now and my dental care has improved a lot since
I'm a 37 year old female who's never had any cavities, although I did have one of my molars sealed due to extremely deep natural grooves on my teeth and my dentist wanted to prevent damage.
Thank you, Bentist! You have inspired me to become an orthodontist when I grow up!

Bentist, I gotta say you've helped me get back into my hygiene. Whenever I go to bed and think I'm too tired to brush, the PHHHHHH shows up in my head. It's like a sort of... shock collar or something 😂

I went through a depression in my teens that had me neglecting my teeth pretty badly. One deep cleaning, 8 fillings, and two root canals later, and I'm never going through it again. Was not pleasant. Still got my wisdom teeth, too 😂 😅

As a twin I can confirm that it does indeed get tiring and annoying but the worst hit is when people call me my twin sister’s name instead of mine
I'm a twin too. I think being called her name is annoying, but I most hated when I would correct them and they would say it

@@Strawberries523 Aww, I have been there, or it's just not worth it to have the conversation again. The good news is once you get older, you are not together all the time, so way fewer people call you the wrong name. Except your parents.

I'm a twin. It's not weird. You get used to it. We forget we're twins sometimes. My nephew gets us confused now and then.
8:51 I went to my sister's phlebotomy class and let her practice on me. It was so cool, and she did a really god job. I wasn't looking to goof off though, because, needles in my skin and whatnot.
The brushing just before the dental appointment still works if you have a REALLY strong toothbrush.

bro i just wake up to 6am to watch this 😭
My son yaked carrots when he was getting one of the tray fluoride treatments, they made sure the next time he was sitting up. He was in first grade and got so scared he cried. The hygienist gave him an extra prize that day. The brush on kind came out a few years later and we were so glad to have it.

Idk how i came across your videos but i did and you encouraged me to finally see a dentist for the first time in a decade. Got my wisdom teeth removed a week ago (i only had 2 yay genetics) and ill be going for a cleaning less than 2 weeks. In a decade, no cavities and looking forward to keeping up w my dental health. Thank you!
Root Canals are not fun that's for sure,especially when you gotta go through the same process the NEXT DAY and your mouth stays numb for 4 hours and you can hardly eat/drink.Just me?

My aunts are identical triplets and everyone gets them confused with each other (even me!). It must be super annoying for them. However, I believe multiples also have a closer bond to each other than singleton siblings do. Some even form their own language! Plus, it’s the perfect setup for pulling the switch up prank with friends and family!

Dental assistants always astound me, because there's me sat waiting for my appointment and they do more speed walking back and to between rooms than I walk around all dang day! Like wow, I can only imagine how many steps they do a day.
Also, with the xray thing, my husband teeth looked strong from the outside, but when the dentist did an xray, his teeth had cavities, but they were 'rotting' from the inside out, with no external signs of trouble.

My parents never taught me to look after my teeth
But now, my teeth are better and I've had braces on for 8 weeks ❤
My parents the same.. i never even had a toothbrush and there was never any toothpaste in our bathroom. Now im toothless and have gone through getting 6 implants for the start of a long treatment. I feel bitter my parent’s never cared.

This is such a great video! I wish you were in my area! I laughed and laughed at the TikTok that they were speaking medical terminology! I got very sick, ironically while I was at the hospital getting an infusion. I started shaking really bad, my temp went to 103.7 it was 98.1 only 20 minutes before this happened. The charge nurse blurts out that she knows what this is! She said this is rigors. I looked at her and said that I knew I looked like death, but didn’t think the grim reaper would be chasing me down quite yet! It’s been a great joke everytime I go there! There are points in life that you just have to laugh!

Didn't get my first cavity until I was 18yrs old. Then had my last one so far in my early 20's.
He probably got sent to his bosses office and his boss probably started laughing, and told him just to go back to work

I have a friend that asked me why I brush my teeth before I go to the dentist and I asked what I had for lunch and he said pizza and I was like yeah my dentist doesn’t want to know that

My orthodontist gave me a goody bag of aaallll the chewy sweets when I got my braces off. He gave milkshakes when you got them put on. He was awesome.

I have only had 1-2 cavities when I was younger
I brush and floss and do everything I'm supposed to do (even got the fancy toothbrushes with the timer so I can make sure I'm not skipping the required time limit for brushing) but I've always had issues with my teeth. Was told when I was 7 that because my teeth are so weak I'll probably be in dentures by the time I turn 40, and at 38 I'm 3/4 of the way there because of teeth breaking and having to be removed. 😢
I still have the cavity from when I was younger that my dentis did not REMOVE

Be proud of me! I slept over my friends house and we had to go brush our teeth so we did she said “why are you brushing your tongue” so I said that “there is white gunk on our tongue that causes us to have bad breath.” Now she brushes her tongue😊😊 (I got all the info from you)

My mom was a dental assistant and her boss under payed her and treated her like she was worthless so she quit and became a nurse but she still payed close attention to my teath and that’s why I have the best teath in my family

Ive had 4 cavities but had some serious decay on a couple teeth(now fixed up) since Covid, but he said I wasnt to cavity stage yet thankfully. Im staying away from fizzy waters for a long time after such bad erosion. I have to have my eye teeth resurfaced still, but for now my teeth should be okay

I'm a massage therapist and have clients who work in dentistry. I highly recommend you find a good massage therapist and get at least one massage a month to help with the back pain from the posture of sitting over your patients!

I had never had a cavity, but for a good 10+ years, I didn't have dental insurance and made very little money. I haven't been to the dentist in probably 13 years. There is a shortage around me, so I will see one again...but it is taking about 10 months to get in for a cleaning. I can finally afford dental care, and this appt is going to be brutal
10:22 No because last time I was a the orthodontist they were doing scans and say stuff like “12/7 and. A 1 canine 8 molar and a 13 front” and then they told me I had really nice “dents” in my teeth, yk the dents or whatever their called yeah those things😂❤ I honestly don’t remember what they said lol 😅
