Looks like you need to anneal it after hammering so it’s more flexible. It’s getting work hardened too fast. Lovely 🥰 piece.

@@SuzyWongStudio I used to hammer round wire into square and flat wire. It's fun. If you want to change from round to half round, you could buy a rolling mill and make the shapes you like....from ingat or the wire you already have. It's a good tool that always comes in handy.
