Team 0% on SMM2 is actually insane, besides the fact that the Switch had a way WAY bigger audience than the Wii U, there is a major difference between 1 and 2.
In SMM levels were deleted if they never got any likes immediately (like a week or two) after they were uploaded. But SMM2 NEVER TOOK DOWN A SINGLE LEVEL.

I'm doing my part by player new courses and getting first clears. It's insane how many ok to good levels show up with all the no effort or trash ones.

That troll level could've been a decent puzzle level if it cut down on the purposely antagonistic elements (like a waiting section right after the checkpoint)

@@mintegral1719 The more I think about it the less do I feel clear about what the difference actually is.
I think it's mostly that in a troll level you collect intel through failure, whereas a puzzle level _should_ provide the necessary information to complete it without a necessity for failure?
The moment you stop considering dying to be a failure, most troll levels are just straight up puzzle levels, I think.
I find it really funny how by rushing Panga wastes like five times more time than if the just waited a second.

Not sure if its the case, but for that softlock in the troll level. I think it would have been worth trying the pipe one more time to reload the area. Troll levels like to force you to go in and out of pipes sometimes to earn death, and bait you with a fake softlock

I think you should add an uncleared level counter, similar to what you do with endless expert. That'd be fun to watch go up as you beat uncleared levels
Aggressive Boos push. Passive Boos pass through. A stack of passive Boos will not push anything and just pass by until you look away from them.
That series you mentioned about endless uncleared super expert sounds like a lot of fun, I'm really keen you see you do that
These troll levels are hilarious to watch when edited, but absolutely brutal to play or watch live haha.
Yeah, this is why I've been on Twitch a half dozen times at most. I'm just too used to the clean, edited stuff with the most boring and awful parts cut out.

Boos seemed to be pushed by the piles of boos. Seems like an obscure bug.
In the original games I'm pretty sure they cannot affect each other but for some reason Nintendo decided to code them differently in SMM.
Not really a bug, more like a weird but deliberate design choice.
Not only by piles of boos, they get pushed by other boos. See demonstration at the end. However, it seems boos that are hiding their face don't collide with other boos.
The push each other all the time when not shy, you just notice it more when there’s a huge stack going through them.

Troll level seemed fine
I tried an "Endless Uncleared" series a while back ago. The only awkward part was trying to keep track of how many lives I had left and if I had also gained any one-up's since coins don't transfer over across deaths outside of endless. I used a counter app to keep track of my lives but I think there are much better ways to go about it. I'm in favor of trying out this challenge!

Huh! Are hitboxes considered physics? I never thought about that. In the real world they are, so it makes sense, but so is everything else and I just never thought about it. I just figured that things like gravity and how parts of the character and surrounding move are considered physics in games and that everything else was mechanics. Hm...
I guess they have overlap and the terms are often interchangeable when they do have overlap, which is the case for all mechanics because everything is physics. It just gets a little metaphysical when we're including things like dialogue and character motivation and and story/character development.

Am I the only one with the same confusion that they can answer themselves if they give it some time and think about it? Would you answer it the same way? Do you have (a) different answer(s)/option(s)? I don't care to know if you're the kind of person who is like, I don't think about that - who cares? Feel like you were a little harsh on that troll level. It wasn't that bad, it just had one section with a big wait, a couple annoying bits, and a softlock (maybe, maybe going back in the pipe would change something).

No one has beaten the level (other than the creator), so Panga is the first with each of these. A victory is considered clearing it.

I think the boos “push” each other because the game doesn’t want or know how to handle multiple boos occupying the same space. Probably some kind of hit-box or collision detection mechanic/bug.
